After Lan and the capital city established contact, they began to gather information about Shi Meng from the small town. Some of the information had to be verified in the Empire's population records and couldn't be fabricated. In case someone became suspicious, they needed eyewitnesses and physical evidence to support their claims.

"What? You agreed to his request, Xueqi?"

"Yes, Dad, don't worry, he won't hurt me."

I entered the theater, where Shi Xueqi had already informed her parents of her decision. I picked up a comical poster from the ground. Although Shi Meng was a comedy master on stage, he didn't have much sense of humor offstage. At least, that's how it appeared to me. However, a person's character can change when faced with adversity. Perhaps his current humorous demeanor, in contrast to his initially murderous aura, was a result of this.

"Wheel of Time's Judgment, reveal your true form, unlock your sealed mark!" My Magic was cast on Shi Xueqi, and the judgment wheel that appeared on her split into seven parts, surrounding her.

"Now I fulfill my second promise, protect yourself! Class monitor."
