Chapter 20

1

The motorcycle was moving at a very high speed. I always thought that the sand kicked up by the tires was too excessive and would attract attention. But later, Zi Sirou said that as long as the car was fun to drive, it didn't matter. Isn't a good car one that doesn't draw attention? The most important thing is, what can you see in such a vast desert? Even if you do see something, you would think it's just the sand blowing in the wind.

She seemed to make sense, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

An hour later, we saw the tip of a pyramid covered in a sandstorm.

"What if we charge in?"

Guffy glanced at the restless sandstorm and sighed, "Hopefully, it's just a normal sandstorm."

"It seems like we have been discovered." While Zi Sirou was photographing the vast desert with her camera, she suddenly noticed figures in the distance.

"The golden masks?"

"Have they discovered us?"

Zi Sirou looked at the photos, clearly discerning their actions, trying to find something from their expressions.

"How can you tell what they're feeling with masks on? But the tire tracks might be discovered if they don't get covered by the sand in time."

"I thought you could see that if we enter the sandstorm before they arrive, they wouldn't notice us."

"Qin Yang, I noticed that there isn't even a single blade of grass here." Guffy suddenly seemed to have discovered something.

"It's a desert."

"There should be at least one cactus, but there are monsters instead!" Guffy's adventurer instinct led her to believe that there were monsters inside.

"Do monsters really live in sandstorms?" Zi Sirou, who lived in a big city, couldn't have seen a monster in ten years.

"Monsters don't get close to places with people, so the places they live in are often very cruel. Sandstorms are nothing." I could feel that there were indeed many monsters surviving in the sandstorm.

"Guffy, since there are monsters, you should come in with us."

"No, I'd rather face the snarling monsters."

"If the headmaster and Qin Yang continue chatting, the people with the golden masks will find them."

Guffy took out a key from her pocket. The motorcycle doesn't need a key to start, so what is Guffy's key for?

"When Fengyu entrusted it to me, he was secretive, saying that if the key was given to his son, he would use it without any restraint."

"What kind of restraint?"

Guffy found the keyhole under our motorcycle and inserted the key.

The 'Intrusion Mode' suddenly appeared on the motorcycle's display.

"It seems like there's another part in the keyhole." After opening the Intrusion Mode, Guffy said.

'Frenzied Intrusion Mode,' it really came from a military factory.

"'L' particles!" After the Frenzied Intrusion Mode was activated, both sides of the heavy motorcycle opened at the same time, and particles spread out instantaneously.

"So this is where 'frenzied' comes in." The Intrusion Mode raised the power of the Abyssal Crystal to its limit, and frenzied is the additional enhancement of artificial 'L' particles. If those particles overload, the motorcycle will explode.

"I've heard that this thing can be constructed into physical form." Zi Sirou extended her hand to the side of the motorcycle, and the particles attached to the crystal were driven by her magic. She held a dagger in her hand.

The three motorcycles that activated the 'Frenzied Intrusion Mode' charged into the sandstorm together. After entering the sandstorm, we continued to move forward, running steadily within. Fortunately, we were dressed in protective clothing and helmets today, otherwise our mouths would be filled with sand.

Within ten minutes, I relied on my intuition to sense the appearance of the demon in the storm, quickly approaching us.

I immediately accelerated, unable to see each other in this situation. The only way to ensure the safety of all three of us was to kill the demon.

Suddenly, I felt the demon's attack. Guffy and Zi Sirou maneuvered their magic through the sandstorm.

As the demon was attacked, its companions would soon appear, perhaps already nearby.

I abruptly hit the brakes, the front of the motorcycle sharply turning as an eagle's claw swiped in front of me.

"I can't believe it can fly in such a strong wind?"

No, my motorcycle was able to continue steadily through the strong winds and sand. How could this demon not be able to fly in the sandstorm?

The motorcycle accelerated and circled through the sandstorm, avoiding the attacks of the demon. Relying on my intuition, I determined the demon's location. The particles formed a long lance, and in the moment of the demon's attack, I swung the lance with one hand, slicing off the eagle's claw. However, the pained cry of the demon was not that of an eagle, but a sound I had never heard before.

Based on my deduction, the demon was likely a hybrid of different races, with a unique appearance and probably different sounds.

The motorcycle continued to move forward, and I constantly felt Guffy and Zi Sirou nearby.

The long lance pierced again, the motorcycle speeding forward. In the sandstorm, I couldn't see clearly ahead, only relying on my sense of touch and the strange sounds. But I was sure that I had actually hit the demon.

The magic of Guffy and Zi Sirou felt close by, and the number of demons nearby was increasing. It would be too exhausting to deal with them one by one, so I needed a more efficient method.

I stopped the motorcycle and the long lance transformed into a dagger. I cut a wound on my palm, letting a small amount of blood flow out.

The strange cries of the demons became louder, and the smell of blood enticed them. This was the simplest method.

A large group of demons swarmed in from the front, and suddenly a tall sand wall rose from the ground in the desert.

"Boom boom!" Amidst the roar of the sandstorm, there were some dull sounds that stood out. I saw one shadow after another crashing into the wall, and the stunned demons fell to the ground, struggling.

The particles reassembled, and two two-meter-long blades appeared on the side of the motorcycle. The wheels spun wildly as the motorcycle shuttled at a speed of 200 kilometers per hour among the dazed demons, the blades slicing through their bodies.

After completing the killings, I felt that Guffy and Zi Sirou had moved a long distance ahead, while some demons had learned to go around the sand wall. However, those who just charged straight ahead were not true demons.

Long-range attacks logically would use magic spears, but in the midst of a sandstorm, with unstable wind direction and the space filled with sand, it would be difficult to accurately shoot.

Before entering the pyramid, it was not advisable to waste too much energy and magic in this kind of place. The most efficient approach was to quickly leave this sandstorm and find a favorable environment for attacking.

Now the task was to find the direction of the pyramid. If Guffy could find the direction in the thunderclouds with her plane, she should be able to find the way in the sandstorm as well.

The motorcycle continued forward, and the demons kept attacking me, continuously drawn by the scent of blood on my hands. No matter how fast I was going, these demons were able to accurately find my location. If it were sensory abilities that came in today, they would have long been torn to pieces by these bizarre demons, with their bones either buried deep in the desert or floating in the sandstorm until one day they drifted to the edge and were thrown out, still buried in the sandstorm.

I quickly reacted and left a sand wall beside me, causing some demons that were eager for a feast to crash into the wall. At the same time, I prepared a figure similar in size to myself ahead of me. When the motorcycle passed by, I left blood traces on the sand figure with my hand. The next second, those demons would take a bite of sand while scavenging.

On the topic of intelligence, Warcraft is stronger than beasts but weaker than humans. However, this does not mean that there are no Warcraft creatures smarter than humans, such as the Warcraft swimming below me.

The Warcraft moves beneath the desert, where the sand is uneven, making it difficult for vehicles to accelerate. Based on the area of its floating body, it must be quite large. Sure enough, it suddenly bursts out of the ground, its huge snake-like body revealing sharp barbs.

I curl up from underground to the surface in a spiral shape, surrounding me in a radius of one hundred meters. It continues to extend forward, and I can only see the tightened front under its encirclement.

The "L" particles are immediately retrieved and attached to the crystal stones, providing the highest power output to enable the vehicle to reach its maximum speed in a sandstorm.

"Phew!" When I and the vehicle reach the last layer of the Warcraft's coiled body, I almost hear a heavy breath.

The Warcraft has long been waiting at the end position of its coiled body, with its mouth wide open, eagerly awaiting its prey to advance in fear. It intends to let the prey die in its joyful moment when it thinks it has escaped from death.

The huge mouth is full of fangs, with several layers of teeth inside and out. The Warcraft species here are all so strange.

In an instant, the giant mouth closes tightly, and the Warcraft retracts excitedly back into the desert. However, its act of killing doesn't satisfy its hunger.

The next second, I appear two hundred meters away from the Warcraft's giant mouth because I used spatial magic to teleport to an unclear location. I immediately brake, causing the tires to skid and the vehicle to slide for thirty meters before stopping.

Fortunately, these thirty meters happen to be outside the sandstorm range. I feel refreshed to see the sunlight again.

"Cough~"

Just as I emerge from the sandstorm and am still looking at it, I hear a cough behind me.

"You two are so fast?"

Two beautiful women have long been waiting in front of the pyramid behind me. The distance between the pyramid and the sandstorm's edge is also less than one hundred meters.

"At a time like this, of course, you rush in and try your best to get out. Unlike you, still fighting with the Warcraft." Guffy is also helpless. She thinks it's best not to kill these Warcraft creatures and let those outside with masks experience their claws.

"I..."

I haven't had a chance to speak when suddenly a Warcraft rushes out from the sandstorm and crashes into the stone wall of the pyramid at high speed.

"Are these Warcraft creatures blind?"

Zi Sirou holds the camera and captures the moment when the Warcraft hits the wall.

"Warcraft creatures living in sandstorms might really be blind. Even if we live in the sandstorm, we don't need our eyes."

I get off the vehicle and squat beside the Warcraft. It's about three meters long, with an eagle-like body and a horse-like face. Its fangs protrude from its mouth, making it ugly but fierce.

"Sirou, take a picture of me with it!"

"This Warcraft creature looks so ugly. Do you really want to take a picture with it?"

"It's not ugly, just a bit fierce. You won't have a chance to capture these rare things in the sandstorm."

Zi Sirou casually picks up the camera and slowly directs me for the photo. To be honest, modeling for her is more tiring than killing Warcraft creatures.
