I was drinking green tea in the principal's office, slowly listening to Guffy talking about the events of the year, until she stopped describing when the door to the tomb chamber opened and revealed the twenty-three Anubis statues.

"Why did Feifei stop talking? She was supposed to get to the climax of the story!" Qi Qi put the pen in her mouth and was very curious why Guffy stopped telling the story halfway.

Similarly, I was curious about the reason why Guffy stopped.

"The next part, you won't be scared by it, right?"

"If it weren't for the Xiang and Hong brothers, I might have died there!" Guffy's tone contained gratitude.

Thirty years ago, when the twenty-three Anubis statues appeared in front of them, Guffy and everyone else were shocked. No one dared to step inside recklessly, as they had no idea what would happen if these Anubis statues were activated.

"Guffy, can you control them?" Marutian was equally nervous, but his gaze was different. He never lingered on the Anubis statues.

"I'll take care of five," Guffy said, holding five sticky notes in one hand, focusing.

"Maru Tian, you're the captain, give the command."

All seven people entered simultaneously, sticking three notes each. It wasn't a problem, mainly dependent on Guffy's speed. She chose the last five, and within a second, she stuck four of them. When Guffy stood in front of the fourth Anubis, the fifth one started glowing green, indicating it was about to activate.

"Fei, hurry!" Hong appeared behind the last Anubis at some point and grabbed its arms, buying some time for Guffy.

"Done!" Guffy pressed her index finger on the sticky note, freezing the Anubis statue in place.

"Let's buy some time and search for the hidden room!" Maru Tian scanned the twenty-three Anubis statues, which showed no signs of movement.

"Click." Before Guffy and the others could react, a stone that Maru Tian was leaning against suddenly opened, and before he knew it, he instinctively grabbed Qing's hand, and the two of them fell in together.

"Qing! Who did that?" Guffy immediately ran in front of them, reaching out for any of them, but her hands couldn't touch anyone.

"I'm sorry!" Hong apologized timidly to Guffy.

"Just a minute ago, I was about to thank you, and within a minute, you messed up." Guffy stared at him fiercely, making Hong feel uneasy.

"I... I didn't do it deliberately."

Guffy looked at the spot where they disappeared, and suddenly, something erupted like a flame from the hole. Guffy immediately moved away.

"Lava? Is it that deep here?" Guffy was surprised to see the lava erupting from not very deep underground.

"We can't go down anymore. You guys keep searching."

"Fei, it's lava. They might have... "

"Shut up! You caused the trouble. Do you want to stand by and do nothing?"

"You really caused trouble, little brother," Xiang said helplessly to his dumbfounded sibling.

Half an hour later, they found many mechanisms but couldn't find the hidden room they were looking for.

"Fei, they seem like they're about to move." Hong noticed signs of the Anubis statues starting to break free from control.

"Hurry and keep searching!"

The Anubis statues started moving, and the sticky notes attached to them began to burn.

"We need to leave now. They're about to move."

"It's too late!" Guffy realized that it seemed too late to escape from the twenty-three statues.

"Are we going to die this time? What do we do with twenty-three of them?"

"How would I know? Let's hide in any random hidden room." Guffy looked at the nearest hidden room behind her. Hiding inside might be the best option. Without thinking, several other burly men whose names Guffy had forgotten ran inside.

Next second, something unexpected happened. The Anubis statues didn't chase them, but instead, they turned toward the gushing lava.

"They seem to be waiting for something."

"Fei, let's go. I have a feeling, a bad feeling." Xiang's sensitive senses made him uncomfortable with the sensations he received from the surroundings.

"Wow!"

Suddenly, a scream echoed behind Guffy. The screams of those burly men...

Guffy in front of me hesitated after saying half of it, as if she didn't want to continue.

"Feifei doesn't look too good, let's not ask."

Qiqi squatted by our feet and lazily said.

I kicked it with my foot and said, "Go write the document, stop slacking off here, do you think we forgot about this?"

"Oh."

"Guffy, what did you see again?"

"It's hell."

"Hell? I've seen it, it's a bit disgusting."

"It's terrifying, terrifying to the point that I don't want to look or remember."
