Chapter 34

Under the slowly rising morning sun, the dark purple refracted light enveloped the Othrie's main artillery carrier, which was covered in dark purple painted armor. The entire armor was seamless from bow to stern, except for the opening in the main artillery position. The access to the carrier could only be done through spatial magic, but it was frustrating that even the most advanced metal armor couldn't withstand a holy-grade attack, making the flying squadron crucial.
"Elena, go back immediately. The Divine Realm and The Human Realm have a cross-border travel agreement, and we mustn't do anything behind the scenes. Especially not in front of the High Priest," said the uncle.
"Uncle, even though the High Priest is the negotiator for the deities and demons, we don't have to be so cautious, do we?"
"Elena, you're still young. Being a Valkyrie for only a few days, you won't understand for now. The negotiations between The Divine Realm and The Human Realm involve more than just intimidation."
"I understand," Elena said as she looked at the unconscious person on the snow lion, feeling strange in her heart. She was supposed to kill this person who spoke ill of her, but she couldn't bring herself to do so when she saw him with his eyes closed.
Elena entered the spatial tunnel and returned to The Divine Realm, immediately closing it without leaving a trace.
"Do you think I would tell you? I just didn't want Qin Fengyu to be embarrassed! Really, the Nia family is nothing but trouble," Hisa complained, combing her bangs and muttering as she looked at the main artillery carrier ten kilometers away. The person in charge of the carrier was none other than the highly respected Duke Qin.
Hisa sighed helplessly, "Ah~~I don't know who to ask for compensation for this broken door."
"I am Linqing, the High Priest of the Othrie Empire. I demand that the god using high-compression magic cease immediately, as our forces will retaliate based on Article 2 of the 500-year Peace Agreement between The Divine Realm and The Human Realm, which prohibits the use of large-scale magic without the other party's knowledge."
The High Priest's warning repeated over and over again, but the main artillery carrier had been charging its energy since it left the ship, ready to fire at any moment.
"Is that Wenxin's father?"
"Hanya, as your teacher, I think you don't keep up with current events. There are only two High Priests in the entire empire now, one is Wenxin's father, and the other is Wenxin's mother. Who do you think is speaking now?"
"I think I've heard of them. We usually talk about them during cosplay conventions."
The sound of vintage internal combustion engines filled the air as a dozen pink motorcycles suddenly entered the area.
"The effects of the Angel's Chant have worn off," Guffy said.
Guffy was surrounded by the motorcycle squad, thirteen motorcycles in total. The lead motorcycle whipped its tail and skidded, leaving two tire marks. Each motorcycle had a maid sitting on it, dressed in black and white with a white frilly apron and a butterfly bow that reached beyond the back of their head, fluttering in the wind.
"Qin Yang... Mom?" Hanya immediately recognized the other person on the lead bike, a ten-year-old girl who she had met once before—Nia!
"Oh my, call me grandma!" The maid stood next to the motorcycle, let Nia step on her knee and jump down.
Guffy hadn't seen Nia in over a decade, and he didn't expect there to be such a height difference when they met.
"Your daughter?" Nia walked to Guffy's side, hands behind her back, and looked at the sleeping Tesha. They had such similar silvery hair, and there was not much of a difference between their features or appearance. She even looked a bit like Qin Fangyu.
"Your son is up there." Sparks flew between Guffy and Nia without them even realizing it. Their conversation felt oddly strange.
Nia looked up at the snow lion in the air, her eyes filled with worry. "Oh dear, this son of yours is such a troublemaker."
"Madam, we don't have much time." The head maid placed her hand on the front of the motorbike, and magic flowed into the core energy crystal. The two-wheeler transformed into a four-wheeler, which indicated that it was a combat vehicle. It was against imperial law to be used outside of designated areas.
"Guffy, each person gets their own vehicle. Let's evacuate immediately! We shouldn't linger here during this diplomatic negotiation."
"Do you have a healer with you?"
"Don't worry, the best one." Nia was helped onto the vehicle by the maid. After everyone got on board, they immediately drove away, the sound of the retro-style engine exhilarating their spirits.

Twenty kilometers away from the main artillery aircraft carrier, a longer version of a sword teased the water in a tank on top of a rooftop.
"This method of conclusion seems less than ideal." Pichu sat outside the rooftop fence, his peculiar eyes clearly focused on the scene twenty kilometers away.
"If Qin Yang watches Elena leave, it will motivate him to become stronger, but too bad, the human body has reached its limit." Pia freely moved around this rooftop, which was filled with shelves covered with bedsheets. Although the outcome was not what she had wanted, she had already completed her first mission, so she felt no anxiety at all.
"In that case, do I need to get involved in the negotiations between Elena and the Othria Empire?"
"Does this troublesome matter concern us?" Tony showed no sense of taking responsibility for the aftermath, as if there was no connection between himself and the conclusion of the mission.
"I agree with this stingy baldy. Indeed, it has nothing to do with us. He parades around with a hundred Angels, so even if they were to sing the dispelling hymn, humans with a bit of ability would easily notice."
"If Elena had brought a hundred more Angels to sing an inspiring hymn, he wouldn't have been hindered by two Demon Kings. Unfortunately, he only brought a hundred."
"Mm, it was a mistake not to let that communicating Angel exaggerate a bit more at the time." Pia reflected again.
Suddenly, a human figure emerged from the water under the water tower. Wet strands of hair covered the person's face, and they blew water onto Tony's face from pouting lips.
"Chill!"
"Ahahaha~~ I scared you, didn't I?"
Tony used the sheath of his sword to press down on Chill's forehead, pushing her back into the water. However, Chill swam joyfully beneath the surface.
"Well then, shall we leave now? Big brother... Is big brother sleeping?" Pichu turned to look at his seemingly meditating big brother, who was actually already sound asleep.
"This plan was my idea. Tony, will your detective novels be of any use next time?"
Tony gave Pia a glance and said, "You simply kidnapped him forcefully."
"Tch, you won't admit that all your books are useless." Pia picked up a bedsheets and covered the naked Pinno. In her eyes, Pinno was covered in scars all over her body, but the Infinite Grimoire had perfectly replicated the Divine Fire, making it an extraordinary book. Pia couldn't help but get excited thinking about having a book like that herself.
The sun rose higher in the sky, shining on the water surface stirred by the sheath of the sword in the water tower. Chill swam happily beneath the glistening ripples, looking completely serene despite the recent battle not affecting her mood.
"Cold, come up. It might be a while before the next time. We can't do anything until Qin Yang recovers, and we're still far from what he wants," Tony looked up at the sky with white clouds, which was more comfortable than the crimson sky of the Demon Realm. Perhaps Tony had already gotten used to this sky after staring at it for so long.
Who am I? I can't seem to distinguish myself anymore. Am I white or black? Why can't I remember? Who am I?
"Qin Yang!"
Ah! I am Qin Yang, but which Qin Yang am I?
"Qin Yang! Qin Yang! Qin Yang..."
"Hmm?"
"Madam, Young Master is awake!" I drowsily opened my eyes and saw a girl in maid attire standing solemnly at the foot of my bed.
"Oh oh oh, my son is awake."
A large face blocked my vision, youthful features adorning it, but the eyes were so mature. Besides my mother, who else could it be?
"Mo... Mother, can... can you not be so close?"
"Doesn't a mother have the right to see her own son? It seems you have a wife and forgot about your mother!"
"No, I... how can I see with you so close?"
"Oh, oh!" The distance between my mother and me returned to normal. I looked around. This unfamiliar yet familiar place, the Duke's mansion, my room. I had rarely returned to this room since ten years ago.
"Right! Where are Elena and Nofice?"
"Well well well, isn't it just like you to wake up and ask about them? Don't you care about your poor mother's well-being?" My mother covered her eye corners with her sleeve, pretending to cry.
"Father will definitely take care of you, Mother. How could I dare to compete with him?"
"Hm! My son lacks filial piety, it's really heartbreaking...."
"Alright, we'll make it up in the future."
"The future?" My mother stood up and hit me on the head with a hammer.
"Okay okay okay... How are you, Mother?"
"Not good! Your father and your foster father have been busy for a week, negotiating with the Divine Realm so that they won't pursue your destruction of the Execution Gate. They left it up to you whether or not to hand over Nofice, your familiar. Nofice is now being watched by Angel from the Brandt family. As for Elena... she left a long time ago."
I contemplated for a long time. I could put Elena's matter aside for now. The important thing was Nofice. It seemed that Ellen and Hisa wouldn't easily let go of Nofice, and Nofice before entering the "Seven Stars" would be an important figure in the Divine Realm.
"Hehe! Stop daydreaming. If it weren't for you, Feng Yu wouldn't have been away from home for a week!"
"Oh~~~ So Father didn't have time to be with you. Alright, today your son will accompany you!"
It had been a long time since I had seen my mother. She seemed to have grown taller, but compared to before... she was still far off.
"Son, let me ask you, what do you think of Guffy's daughter?"
"What... what do you mean?" Could my mother already know that she was soon to become a grandmother?
"Does she resemble your father?"
"Huh? A little bit." Honestly, Tesha resembled her mother Guffy more, and no matter how she smiled or frowned, I couldn't see any trace of her father in her. How could my mother's eyes tell that she resembled her grandfather?
"So, it seems that Fengyu and Guffy have something to deal with!"
Huh? I heard the sound of grinding teeth, which rarely happens. Well, it turns out that my mother's trust in my father's character is not that reassuring.
