The cold rain fell on Izayoi's golden hair, turning into glistening droplets that rolled down her pale shoulders. The chill of her skin could become numb with time, but the loneliness and desolation in her soul could never be overcome. Izayoi, like a wandering princess, had roamed this unknown continent in the Sea of Order for hundreds of years. During these few centuries, she fought for her dignity! She experienced many things, some dangerous, some touching, but she couldn't bring herself to develop any emotions towards anyone. This indifference was not due to her personality, but rather a result of a missing piece in her soul.

Her world, her innermost self, seemed to have lost some colors. She definitely remembered Xu Chen, and she even liked him herself, but even so, she couldn't recall the sweet or youthful feelings. Izayoi, a girl who no longer possessed emotions. At this moment, she hid in the bushes, observing a cave in front of her. The Forgotten Cave, where it was said that the Marsh Shadows resided deep inside! Today, Izayoi had finally found it!

It was said that thirty years ago, a team escorting treasures for an auction was passing through here when they were attacked by the Marsh Shadows. They killed most of the guards and took away a few of the most precious treasures. Among them was the emerald shoulder armor that Izayoi desperately wanted – the Shoulders of Hikinz! Izayoi enjoyed collecting treasures, and naturally, the Shoulders of Hikinz were something she had been wanting recently. With this piece, she would complete her set of Hikinz Light Armor. However, Izayoi had forgotten why she enjoyed collecting treasures. Was it solely to make herself stronger?

Izayoi's feet were adorned with green boots, trudging through the muddy decayed leaves. She wiped the rainwater off her face and finally made up her mind to enter the cave. She carried a silver spear on her back, the spearhead emitting a faint green light. It was clearly a magical weapon. She entered the cave, casting a glance at the rain mist from the forest. The chilling darkness inside the cave made her damp body feel even colder. However, she continued forward towards the depths of the cave. "Sizzle! Sizzle!" Inside the cave, two fish-like creatures with moist skin and covered in moss appeared in front of her. These two creatures had low intelligence. When they saw Izayoi, they instinctively became alert but felt that she was soft and seemingly easy to deal with. They could also eat her and plunder her attractive armor and package. Thus, the fish-like creatures hopped forward, making hissing sounds, holding spears, shields, and short knives, charging towards Izayoi.

Izayoi's gaze was stern as she stared at the two creatures. Although they were foolish and not particularly powerful monsters, they couldn't be underestimated. That rusty knife and spear could be deadly! Even a small injury could easily lead to infection! Izayoi held the spear in her hand. "Haa!" She took a few steps forward, dancing with her spear! Izayoi's spear was relatively long, and although her strength was average, her movements were skillful. With each rotation of the spear, a deadly gust of wind followed! "Bang!" Izayoi struck the shield of one of the fish-like creatures, directly sending it flying backward along with its shield. The other creature attempted to attack her from the side during her spear strike. However, Izayoi was prepared for a follow-up move and easily evaded the creature's spear tip, followed by a horizontal swipe of her spear, directly hitting the creature at its waist.

Izayoi's spear was the type that resembled a short sword as the spearhead, made entirely of mithril. The spear was long and sturdy, and the spearhead was heavy. It could not only stab but also slash, cleave, and smash! "Plop!" Dark red blood was splattered from the waist of the fish-like creature, leaving a ferocious wound. Then, using the spearhead as a pointer, Izayoi lifted her foot and kicked with the sharp metal heel, heavily striking the massive head of the fish-like creature. Although in reality, the head and body of the creature were interconnected, being a fish with limbs. Then, Izayoi's spear bounced off the ground, changing its grip, and directly pierced the creature.

At this time, the other fish-like creature had already climbed up and was rushing towards her from another side.

Izayoi pulled out her spear and directly thrust the handle into the fishman's mouth from the side.

While the fishman's knife was still spinning in the air, Izayoi's swift spear had already pierced through the fishman's mouth.

The handle of the spear was also tipped with mithril, directly stabbing the fishman from its mouth and piercing through its back!

"Splurt!!!" Dark red blood spurted out along the handle of the spear!

Having killed two fishmen, Izayoi shook off the dirty blood from her spear and continued onward.

When she reached a bend in a cave where there was a pile of fluorescent mushrooms, she stopped and placed her spear to the side. She took out a water pouch from her bag, drank a few sips, and then rested for a moment before picking up her spear and continuing towards the depths of the cave.

At this moment, there were still many unknown dangers within the depths of the cave.

However, Izayoi's expression was relatively calm. Although this was her first time here, she didn't feel fear towards the darkness and the unknown. Although she thought she should be afraid, she simply lacked that emotion.

Izayoi did not know that her soul was incomplete.

"Xu Chen... This seems to be the name of the boy I like, but what does it feel like to like someone? Why do I like this person? It's completely incomprehensible... Oh well, let's just focus on collecting treasures for now!" Izayoi seemed to have an inexplicable obsession with collecting treasures, which made her march confidently towards the deeper parts of the cave.
