"So quickly to successfully cast a fourth-level magic spell, impressive."

"No wonder she's the Flame Goddess."

"How is it possible to succeed on the first try? She must have learned it before. Don't forget her father is a teacher."

"That's right."

Unaware of the discussion around her, she frowned in concentration, lost in thought.

Her serious expression didn't quite match her twelve-year-old appearance, as she put her fist on her chin, feeling almost like a little adult.

Professor Kums watched the red-haired girl with admiration. Her name was probably Allen Lina Reina Rebecca...oh well, her name was too long to remember, so she could be called Allen Berylman.

She was one of the few geniuses at Hildaran College in the past ten years, excelling in both combat techniques and general courses, far surpassing her peers. Because of her exceptional talents, she had skipped from the beginner's to the intermediate class in just a few months after admission.

Hildaran College's curriculum was mainly divided into two types: combat courses and general courses. Combat courses included magic and sword techniques, while general courses covered language, math, history, astrology, alchemy, music, magic theory, magic evolution, magic knowledge, and more.

There were seven levels in total, with levels 1-3 being beginner classes, 4-5 being intermediate classes, and 6-7 being advanced classes. It takes two years to complete all the courses required for each level, meaning students need two years to move up one grade.

Hildaran College also had a system of skipping grades, allowing students with sufficient ability to enter higher grades even if they had not completed the courses for their current grade. However, for the average student, this system was like an insurmountable barrier. With 9 classes in general courses alone, the sword techniques and magic courses in combat courses were not easy either, so few students could meet the standards for skipping grades.

But there were still some natural talents who could rise to the challenge.

Like Allen Berylman, who was only twelve years old. With her talents, she was limitless in what she could achieve, and becoming a saintly powerhouse was not entirely beyond the realm of possibility.

Thinking this, Professor Kums nodded with approval.

"Break everything, run the skies with thunder. Obey me and tear apart the enemy in front of me along with the void: Lightning Tooth."

Allen once again cast the fourth-level magic spell, Lightning Tooth. This time, it was even more powerful than before, with the column of lightning more than a meter in diameter, shooting up into the sky and disappearing.

Although she had improved, Allen still didn't seem entirely satisfied and pondered over it.

A glow of magic energy surrounded her, and once again she raised the staff she was practicing with.

Golden lightning flashed, but after a while, there was no other movement, and the lightning faded away.

"Is it really impossible? It's so difficult to cast fourth-level spells without chanting."

"Nevermind. Lightning Tooth."

This time, Allen only spoke the name of the spell and successfully cast it.

The lightning shot straight into the sky.

Although this version of the Lightning Tooth was weaker than the one she had chanted earlier, it was three times faster and speed is a crucial element for mages in battle. Shortening the casting time would make the mages more flexible and give their opponents no time to react, making them invincible.

In just one class, Allen not only learned how to cast fourth-level spells but also simplified the chant to only the spell name, which left everyone in the room, including the teacher, astonished at her extraordinary talent.

Even Allen herself was somewhat pleased with her success.

"?"

Sensing something, Allen turned her head and quickly spotted a girl with light blue twin tails. The girl turned her head anxiously, and due to the exaggerated movement, anyone with sharp eyes could tell that it was a case of hiding something in plain sight.

Allen tilted his head in confusion while his fluffy hair swayed.

He knew the girl's name was Katie Cleaver, a common civilian student who joined Hildaran College just the day before yesterday and was his classmate.

She seemed like a quiet girl.

Seeing her flustered, Allen thought she had something to say to him.

Just as he took a step forward to approach her, he was hugged from the front by a girl.

Fluttering hair?

No, ears.

She looked up, revealing six animal spots on her delicate face, and her beautiful golden pupils.

If one looked closely, her skin was slightly different from that of a human, covered in dense fur all over her body, with a pair of sharp cat ears on her head, a triangular nose, and a swaying fluffy tail behind her.

Obviously, she was a beastman, a half-human, and half-beast creature based on her humanoid face and body.

Allen could feel the two soft bulges pressing onto him, together with the sweet fragrance unique to a teenage girl.

Gazing at the girl's fluttering cat ears, Allen momentarily revealed an expression of wanting to touch them, with the corners of his mouth curving downwards in a daze.

"I also want to ask Allen to teach me how to cast spells simply by uttering the spell name, it's so cool," said a brown-haired girl, who walked over with an agile body beyond her age.

"Meow, meow, meow, teach us quickly, Allen," said the hugging girl.

"Mia, don't hold onto Allen like this, he has already told you many times," said Allen's classmate, Nina, standing beside them with a serious and cute face.

The half-beast girl in question was named Mia.

Nina, with her brown hair, was also Allen's classmate and friend.

Although Mia tended to forget things and make mistakes, her overall grades in the class were always poor, especially in magic.

In fact, her affinity and talent for magic were not low, but it only meant that she was too lazy.

Her swordsmanship grades were always excellent in the class, albeit thanks to her inherent abilities.

On the other hand, Nina's overall grades had always been good, though she could only be regarded as average in magic and swordsmanship. Nevertheless, she excelled in ordinary subjects and was a clever girl.
