"Roar!"
The dragon lunged towards the girl again, disappearing in a matter of ten meters.
The girl's original standing place was now a large pit caused by the impact of the dragon.
Katie held her breath, eyes wide open, afraid that the red-haired girl had been killed. Fortunately, she soon spotted the petite figure floating above the dragon.
The girl was suspended in mid-air.
She didn't seem to be completely unscathed, with her silver armor covered in dust and her red hair disheveled and messy.
A ball of flames emerged from the girl's body, enveloping her in flames which didn't seem to harm her.
"This is magic...? It's so powerful."
Katie knew that the ball of flame on the girl's body wasn't a real flame, but instead a luminescent phenomenon formed from the high concentration of magic.
However, normal magic users couldn't have such strong magical power, and neither could Katie. Yet this young girl, who looked much younger than her, possessed it.
The magic energy overflowing from the girl's body quickly condensed onto her long sword, causing it to glow in a bright red.
A magic circle appeared above the sword's tip.
"Explosion."
A massive fireball with a diameter of over five meters appeared from the magic circle, landing on the dragon's head below.
A 20-meter radius centered on the dragon was immediately engulfed in flames, and the intense heat spread rapidly in all directions. The grass and trees nearby withered and caught fire instantly.
Even Katie, who was on the magic ship, could feel the heat burning her skin.
Sweat dripped from Katie's forehead as she squinted her eyes against the bright flames.
Rumbles echoed for over ten seconds before the flames gradually subsided, leaving only a burnt smell.
The dragon wasn't dead, but its entire body was burnt black and it convulsed with its last breaths.
Despite being in its dying state, the dragon still glared at the red-haired girl with ferocity.
Watching the dragon, which was now powerless to resist, the red-haired girl hesitated for some reason.
Just then, a gust of wind sliced through the air and cut off the dragon's head, spewing out a large amount of reddish-brown blood. The last bit of strength that kept the dragon alive vanished, and it collapsed on the ground.
The girl turned to look at her father who had approached her, furrowing her brows and expressing her displeasure.
"Dad, didn't you hear Allen say not to interfere?"
"Because Allen looked like he was in trouble. Anyway, he won, and I was only doing the final work. The experience value will still go to Allen's WD."
"Mind your own business and stay out of it. Allen isn't a child anymore!"
Shrugging off the large hand on her head, Allen glared coldly at her father.
She then undid her elbow guard, revealing a metal bracelet on her wrist.
She pressed a certain spot on the metal bracelet, and a faint light emanated from its surface, projecting a small panel that displayed data such as strength, agility, magical power, and experience value.
"I gained over 10,000 experience points!"
"Done. Let's go back."
Allen nodded, but she didn't leave immediately. She turned around and walked towards the magic ship.
"Sorry, it was because of Allen's pursuit that the earth dragon ran this way, nearly causing harm to you."
"It's fine. We're not hurt. Are you a student at Hildaran College? How old are you? You were amazing, taking down a dragon like that."
"Yes, Allen is a student at Hildaran College, and she's only 12 years old."
