"Since I'm so adorable, why do you always look at me with disdain? Are you not a man? Previously, there wasn’t a single boy who was not smitten by me," Miju stared at Han Jin with a puzzled look.

"I'm completely uninterested in dealing with you," Han Jin retorted. "Put away your stuff; I need to go to class. Don’t you need to attend your own?”

"No worries, our classroom was blown up by you, so the school gave us a short holiday," responded Miju nonchalantly, a hint of delight slipping into her voice.

Discovering that the girl who kept bothering him was actually one of those affected by his previous mishap, Han Jin was taken aback. It was astounding how she could chat with him so calmly.

"You don’t seem to be angry?" Han Jin questioned. Shouldn't she be seething, blaming him as the culprit?

With her large black eyes blinking, Miju replied," Why would I be angry? I'm more than happy to have an official excuse to skip class."

Realising that he was over-thinking, Han Jin decided that if she was angry, it wouldn't change anything.

"Oh, look what I found here," a sarcastic laugh jarringly broke the silence. From afar, Han Jin could already sense the hostility.

A somber man with square and spade patterns painted on his face was fiddling with a set of cards in hand and appeared within their sight: "I wondered why I couldn’t find you these past three days. Turns out you've been hiding in the dorm, afraid to come out."

The gloomy man smirked arrogantly, greatly annoying Han Jin, "Oh, what a coincidence. Are you finally remembering that you still owe me three hundred thousand?"

With the man showing hostility, Han Jin saw no reason to be nice.

"Oh, last time you hid behind a woman. Have you found a new one to hide behind today?" taunted the gloomy man, feeling confident that Han Jin would not be able to escape this time.

Before Han Jin could retort, Miju spoke first, "The moment I hear this androgynous voice, I know it’s you, Fang Jie. It's disgusting."

The words seemed to hit a nerve. Fang Jie glared at them, "I knew it. A slut like you would surely get together with him, two peas in a pod."

Miju shot back, "Who are you calling a slut, you sissy!” It was apparent that their relationship was far from amicable.

"Are you alone this time?" Han Jin asked indifferently.

Believing Han Jin thought him easy to pick on, Fang Jie scoffed, "I alone am enough for you. I assure you, even hiding behind a woman won’t help you this time."

He brandished a playing card, his power "Enchantment" infusing it with extreme offensive potential. The lightweight card was his preferred weapon.

Activating his power, Fang Jie sent a card flying at Han Jin. However, Han Jin didn't even blink. "Move! Are you crazy?" Miju urged in panic.

"It's just a child's toy. Why avoid it?" Han Jin retorted. "Can fly a card and you think you are invincible? Pathetically weak, proving you only have half a man's strength?" Han Jin taunted.

Fang Jie's effeminate voice was a point of deep resentment for him. Unable to bear their continuous mockery, he roared, "I don’t care about the consequences! I'll make you disabled for the rest of your life! Overlord Card Rain!”

In his frenzied state, Fang Jie cast all his cards into the air, each laden with the energy he had left behind. Under his control, they poured down like a swarming plague of locusts. This man was notoriously vindictive and severe. He had wounded many people, and as a result had his scholarship deducted and was disciplined several times. Nevertheless, his talent was undeniable. The college always let him off the hook, and he never cared about these penalties as long as he was satisfied.

With the imminent danger, Han Jin merely smiled. The institution was far more entertaining than he had imagined, and deep down, he longed for...the thrill of battle!

In order to ensure that the young girl nearby didn't get hurt, Han Jin drew her into his arms. With a slight movement of his toes, he shifted through space and materialized dozens of meters away, "Stay here and behave. Don't cause me any trouble."

For some reason, looking into Han Jin's eyes, Mi Jiu felt a tinge of shyness and nodded reflexively.

With a smile on his face, Han Jin took a step forward and walked directly through the pouring rain of cards. Without even his clothes being brushed by a card, he arrived in front of Fang Jie, "Anger will only serve to cloud your judgement and deprive you of the ability to think clearly. You'll understand this in the hospital. Don't worry, I’ll keep my word. You'll be there for at least three months."

A red protective glove materialized on Han Jin's left hand, with no ostentation, he clenched his palm and threw a punch directly at Fang Jie.

Fang Jie's entire face began to twist as he flew through the air in a parabolic arc, spitting out a few teeth, "Thi—How— Can— This— Be— Possible!"

After knocking down several big trees, Fang Jie’s body finally halted. He lay on the ground frothing, unconscious, a large imprint of a fist on his face.

"Wow, didn't you hit a bit too hard?" Seeing Fang Jie lying dozens of meters away, Mi Jiu felt a bit of sympathy.

Han Jin shrugged nonchalantly at Mi Jiu, "It's my first time using this thing, so I had trouble controlling my strength. If I were a bit lighter, he might discharge after less than three months which would be rather disappointing."

Listening to Han Jin's words, a chill went down Mi Jiu's spine. He had hit so hard yet still considered it light. It seemed this guy was truly a dangerous person, and it would be wise to not provoke him in the future.
