670,

Life went on as usual, and Cyclone had grown used to life as a doctor.

“Thank you.”

“Remember to watch what you eat, ma’am.”

The old woman was ready to leave, but Hilmirya kept reminding her, clearly dissatisfied.

“I-I know~”

Picking up her cane, the old woman left them with one more remark.

“Doctor Cyclone~ Where did you find such a nagging nurse~?”

“Haha… haha…”

Cyclone gave a helpless laugh. The old woman had been complaining about how exhausted she was just moments ago, but as soon as she got her strength back, she was up to her old mischievous tricks again.

“Honey!”

“Yes, yes. Just remember, ma’am. If it hurts again next time, I might not be able to save you~”

“Tch! All right~ I’ll remember.”

Only after the old woman promised did Hilmirya open the door.

Beyond it was a ring-shaped space, with a row of benches along each side of the walls.

The old woman walked straight ahead. The only way out was through the staircase directly in front of her.

This was the first floor of Cyclone’s house. It had originally been an unused floor for storing odds and ends, but somehow, over time, it had gradually become a medical clinic just for Cyclone.

“Next!”

Little Dragon sat in the booth beside the door. It was the only entrance to the examination room.

At Little Dragon’s call, the next patient stood up and walked into the examination room.

And so Cyclone spent the whole afternoon here, treating every patient who came to see him.

His mornings were less predictable. Sometimes he opened the clinic early; other times, he went out to see patients who had made appointments.

In short, he was busy every single day.

Along with improving his medical skills, Cyclone had gone from being a doctor who only performed surgery to developing into a more well-rounded physician.

But working long hours wasn’t good for his health, so every one of his wives kept track of the time. As soon as the time came, they’d make sure he took a break—and offer him all kinds of attention, to varying degrees.

Like now, when it was three in the afternoon.

After Hilmirya left the examination room, no one else came in.

Going by the recent schedule, Elyse would be coming in soon, bringing some snacks she’d made herself for Cyclone.

While he waited, Cyclone pulled open the small drawer beneath his desk.

There was nothing in the drawer. No paperwork, no medical tools.

But if Cyclone pulled it out just a little farther, a tiny box appeared.

This little red box had only appeared here yesterday.

It was a gift from Feng'er to Cyclone—and the love Cyclone was going to give to Elyse.

Just then, the door opened. Cyclone instinctively shut the drawer, then looked at Elyse as if nothing had happened.

“Honey~ Guess what tasty treat I brought today?”

Returning the smile she’d worn before, Elyse set the plate in her hands on the desk.

An upside-down bowl covered it, so Cyclone couldn’t see what was hidden underneath.

He tried to sniff it out, but all he could smell was Elyse’s natural fragrance.

In an ordinary housewife’s long skirt and a simple little apron, Elyse had transformed from a princess into a capable wife.

“Hmm…”

As Cyclone wondered what it could be, Elyse slowly came closer, took his hand, and made room for herself.

When Elyse took his hand, Cyclone already knew what she had in mind.

Cyclone spread his legs slightly, making his lap a steady place for her to sit.

Elyse smoothed her skirt and sat on Cyclone’s lap.

As soon as she sat down, Cyclone wrapped his arms around her slender waist so she could sit comfortably.

At such close range, he could smell not only Elyse’s natural fragrance, but also the scent of her hair.

Instinct took over, and Cyclone’s sword grew strong.

“Ahem~”

Elyse gave a couple of fake coughs, and Cyclone could only smile helplessly.

For the moment, the plate’s contents didn’t matter. The two spouses, in love with each other, began to kiss.
