The carriage sped along, picking up even more speed as it turned onto a straight road.

"Faster, faster!"

The Cyclone continued to accelerate, each bump causing the carriage to spring into the air like a bird.

Yet the Cyclone paid no heed to the vibrations, simply racing ahead relentlessly.

This choice was the right one, as a glance back revealed that the assassins were catching up.

This was the difference between leaping through the air and walking on the ground, for even on a straight street, the Cyclone had to dodge left and right to avoid the residents on the road.

With each incremental increase in distance traveled, there would inevitably come a point when they would be caught up with.

The assassins leaped onto the nearest building to the Cyclone, surprised by how fast their pursuit was.

But it wasn't over yet, the Cyclone could go even faster.

"Make way!!!"

The Cyclone shouted, and finally the pedestrians ahead noticed the carriage.

Once everyone had stepped aside, the entire street turned into a straight path.

The carriage accelerated once more, and this time, the assassins couldn't catch up.

And then, at that moment, the leader of the assassins shot a firework into the sky.

Beneath the firework, a hand reached out towards the Cyclone.

The hand held a Magicite Crystal, placed next to the Cyclone's ear.

"Do you see it?!"

Without turning back, the Cyclone spoke to the Magicite Crystal.

Under the rapid motion of the carriage, a faint voice emanated from deep within the crystal.

"I see it, the remaining assassins are on the move."

Upon hearing the response, the Cyclone shouted back.

"Good!"

With that call, the outstretched hand tossed something to the side.

In the chaos, the Magicite Crystal was flung to a corner of the street and disappeared.

After throwing it, the hand retreated back into the carriage.

"This is not, not right!!"

In mid-air, one of the teammates flew next to the captain.

"Captain, something feels off!!"

"Cyclone Theodore is right in front of us, what could be off?!"

"But, but the princess might not be in the carriage?!"

Faced with the teammate's doubts, the captain slowed down slightly.

Indeed, a valid point.

The carriage was shaking so violently, it was hard to imagine that the pregnant Elyse would be inside.

If that were the case, was this also a diversion?!

Watching the accelerating carriage, the assassin captain shook his head.

"Even so, we cannot stop now…"

Biting down on his teeth, the captain leaped once more.

Several throwing knives flew from his hand, directly aiming for the carriage's wheels.

This action caused the carriage to bounce in the air.

To stabilize the carriage, the Cyclone had to cease accelerating.

In the end, they were caught up by the assassins.

Surrounded by the group of assassins, the onlookers were all stunned.

They thought it was some special performance staged by the Great Dragon Festival and initially remained silent.

It wasn't until the captain spoke that the tranquility was broken.

"Surrender Princess Elyse!"

"You have the audacity to attack participants of the Great Dragon Festival?!"

With this shout from the Cyclone, the assassins, like the onlookers, were dumbfounded.

A figure emerged from the carriage, elegant with purple hair—a surprise reveal of Little Dragon.

"So bold, trying to win by such means?!"

"You?!"

Facing Little Dragon, the captain was speechless.

Though the reality was different, due to the implications for the Great Dragon Festival, all eyes were on the group of assassins.

"This can't be…"

"They would resort to such means even in the Great Dragon Festival?!"

"Which participant is it anyway?!"

In broad daylight, Cyclone's move had indeed garnered the agreement from the crowds on the street.

In an instant, everyone on the street turned to condemn the captain of the assassins.

Following a reversal of fortunes, Cyclone's gambit of the "Double Distract and Ambush" succeeded.

Now, Elyse had become a missing person.

Seeing the captain looking at him, Cyclone spoke earnestly once again.

"Whatever your intentions may be, this will not lead to victory in the Great Dragon Festival."

With this serious statement, it was as if Cyclone truly had no knowledge of Elyse's existence.

At that moment, a battle of "words" officially unfolded.
