After going through the morning and lunchtime training, Cyclone's body needed some time to rest. Sitting on a bench in the trading shop, Cyclone leaned against the wall alone, observing every customer. There were all kinds of people, different races, and a lot of customers, far beyond Cyclone's imagination. What started out as a simple attempt to cheer up Eileen had unexpectedly turned Cyclone into a formidable figure in the business world.
With the business acumen inherited from his uncle and aunt, Cyclone not only impressed them as a swordsman but also paved his own path in the business world. Tiny's body, besides enduring Cyclone's powerful sword energy, also supported the continuous growth of their business venture.
Cyclone sighed. Just when he had managed to help Eileen find peace of mind and get proper rest, he felt a sense of satisfaction. "You actually showed up?" Suddenly, Ms. Bernan, his business partner, appeared. Today, she had just come by to check on this investment of hers, but upon seeing Cyclone, she looked surprised, as if she had just spotted a rare creature.
Rolling his eyes, Cyclone responded, "Is it so surprising for me to be here in my own place?" Amused by Cyclone's retort, Ms. Bernan smiled slightly. "Seems like it," she remarked. Having the opportunity to banter with an opponent was quite rare. It seemed that daily training sessions were beginning to wear out Cyclone.
Ignoring Cyclone's inner thoughts, Ms. Bernan continued, "Where's your wife?" "She's resting," Cyclone replied. "Still resting at 3:30?" It was simply out of concern, but it seemed Ms. Bernan had caught on to the truth. Glancing at Cyclone's lower body, she chuckled lightly. "Take care of yourself a bit. The busier you are, the more a woman tolerates. But once things reach a breaking point..."
Covering her mouth with one hand, Ms. Bernan smirked a few times. However, Cyclone smirked back. "Well, you know, as the business grows, my wife's relaxation time decreases. As a husband, I must find ways to help her unwind." At that moment, Eileen descended the stairs and appeared behind the counter. Cyclone and Ms. Bernan exchanged glances with Eileen and then back to each other. "Hehe," "Hmm."
Though they appeared to have a refreshed appearance from proper rest, it was this very demeanor of Eileen that made Ms. Bernan understand. It must have been quite intense earlier, causing Eileen to be unable to close her legs and barely stand while working. "It's good for women to experience the feeling of love while young. Otherwise, everything will be too late when they grow old," Ms. Bernan remarked.
Cyclone opened his arms, displaying an awkward smile. "You seem quite experienced in this matter," he teased. "Humph! I have my history too," she retorted. Both of them shared a laugh for a while. "But how come you are here?" Bringing the conversation back around, Ms. Bernan's question was indeed valid. Cyclone usually stayed upstairs and couldn't be of much help downstairs at the trading shop once his work was done.
However, today is special.
Just as mentioned, Cyclone is coming today for a reason.
"An acquaintance is coming today to discuss a long-term deal."
"What?! You're also managing this shop?"
Cyclone smirked while clapping his hands.
"Tsk?! You make it sound like I can't, as if~"
"Well~ Who knows, right?"
With each person taking turns, a simple yet exciting verbal battle unfolded.
It wasn't until a man walked into the shop that their fight came to a halt.
"Oh? He's here~"
Leaving Ms. Bownan, Cyclone walked up to the man.
"You're here? Really, you managed to find my place! Impressive~"
