407,
Scoring, not reviewing.
For each competition, every dish will be scored based on the same criteria.
The only difference lies in the fact that each match will feature different ingredients or themes to compare the strengths of the two contestants.
And as we approach the end, the initial conditions of the competition will become fewer…
"First is 'presentation'!!"
The emcee stepped back to the side of the judges, allowing each one to face the audience below the stage.
"In terms of presentation, the results between contestant Billy and contestant Little Dragon are…"
After the customary pause for suspense, the emcee revealed the result.
"Contestant Billy, one point!!"
Although the clothes were still in the half-exploded state, when it came to the scoring, the judges became serious.
After discussions among the three judges, the one in the middle held up the card of the scorer.
And the scoring is simply a one or a zero.
The winning contestant receives one point, otherwise, zero points.
Upon hearing that Little Dragon lost in the 'presentation' aspect, meaning the appearance of the dishes delivered during the final showdown can't beat the muscular gentleman on the other side, Cyclone made a tsk sound.
"Of course, choosing fried rice as the dish naturally resulted in a disadvantage in presentation," Bernan comforted Cyclone.
"I understand that..."
However, Cyclone still felt unhappy about Little Dragon losing a point.
But this was the scoring method of the Dragon Festival, which Cyclone understood.
"Next is 'taste'!"
Before Cyclone could even ponder or the audience could express their awe, the emcee had already prepared for the next scoring category.
This was due to the lack of time; the afternoon of the next day was already the preliminary round for the fifty-second group, one can imagine how many matches were held just yesterday.
Over the span of these ten years, all chefs worldwide recognized by judges for their skills would attend this grand event.
With over twenty thousand participants, rankings would be determined at the Dragon Festival.
"Contestant Little Dragon, one point!!"
Even the female judge couldn't contain her excitement; it was only natural for Little Dragon to secure this point for taste.
Of course, one person in the audience was dissatisfied.
"No, this can't be!!!"
Despite Mr. Billy's discontent, Little Dragon simply crossed her arms, facing him unflinchingly.
"Little Dragon, Eileen, don't worry."
Without turning back, Little Dragon gazed ahead throughout, confidently locking eyes with Billy.
"We have Cyclone behind us, believe me, we will not lose in the final scoring."
"Yes!"
As Eileen exuded confidence, Cyclone also voiced his support from the top floor.
"Here we go!"
"Here we come!! This is one to one now; it seems that in the end, the victory will be determined by the final scoring!!"
With the emcee's words, Cyclone once again flashed a smile.
However, Bernan no longer felt surprised, as she vaguely sensed that this man and his women must have planned something.
With years of life experience, Bernan also smiled, feeling excited for the surprises that were to come next.
"The last item, 'bi'!!"
"Bi? What's that supposed to mean?"
"I have no idea~"
Numerous question marks popped up above the heads of the audience. Just from a single character, 'xing' and 'wei' could bring to mind 'shape' and 'flavor'.
But the character 'bi', for those unfamiliar, would be impossible to guess.
The staff had already started handing out a large number of promotional flyers, and the host began to explain.
"Even though today is already the second day, as this competition only takes place once every ten years, many out-of-town visitors are still not quite clear on the scoring system for the Heavenly Dragon Festival."
Although time was limited, the host still proceeded to explain.
"Bi~ is the meaning of showing off..."
Pausing for a moment, the host smiled.
"That's right!! Showing off!! It's also a major competition at the Heavenly Dragon Festival!!"
