268,

Unexpectedly, even after leaving the church, I still ran into her.

Throughout this journey in Riverbranch, this person has been by my side, feeling like a ghost.

As Cabellus opened the door to leave, this huge figure appeared right on cue.

Instead of ignoring the moment the door opened, this figure charged in upon seeing Cyclone.

Cabellus ignored the person's rudeness and chose to escape directly.

"Really... just recovered and already drinking?!"

Holding a handheld wooden box, the largest among the women that Cyclone knew, Hilmirya, made her formal appearance.

The apprentice nun, Hilmirya, stared silently at Cyclone, the reason being that this morning when the bandages were unwrapped, Hilmirya had reminded Cyclone several times not to drink for the time being.

With a vacant look in his eyes, it seemed like no matter how this man was reminded, he refused to listen.

But since Hilmirya saw it, she had to step in and stop him.

Slowly pushing away the drink on Cyclone's table, Cyclone naturally noticed it, but he also had no intention of doing anything about it because there were many delicious dishes besides the drink waiting for Cyclone to enjoy.

However, for some reason, a strange sound suddenly echoed.

Cyclone glanced sideways, and Hilmirya also looked askance towards the door.

"Have a seat~"

"..."

Cyclone's simple words made Hilmirya feel embarrassed.

"Well then..."

Really, it's enough to be this hungry...

Eating while muttering in his mind, Cyclone put down the handheld wooden box and began to pray.

Cyclone knew it was a religious act towards the water god, although the meaning was unknown, Cyclone regarded it as a signal, a signal that a monster was approaching.

"I don't mind!!"

"Alright~"

Cyclone quietly pushed the things he didn't like to eat towards Hilmirya, while secretly moving the things he liked towards himself.

Hilmirya happily ate while laughing without realizing she had become Cyclone's garbage collection center.

There was no other choice, Cabellus ordered too much food and only ate a little before leaving, so Cyclone could only make use of Hilmirya.

However, even if Hilmirya ate voraciously, she still carefully protected the handheld wooden box.

"What is that?"

Cyclone curiously asked.

"Hmm... this? It's a medical toolbox."

"Oh~"

"Just finished accompanying the doctor for rounds."

"..."

Cyclone thought for a moment and couldn't understand something.

"Are you studying medicine?"

"Mm."

"Then why become a nun? Wouldn't it be better to just study medicine directly?"

"Hmm?"

While eating and listening, it seemed Hilmirya didn't understand what Cyclone was asking.

"I mean, if you like studying medicine, why become a doctor? Why become a nun?"

"Healing magic. The nuns of the Water Faith have to study healing magic, although..."

It seems she remembered the woman who escaped, and Hilmirya fell silent for a moment.

"I never thought you would be fat, but it turns out you are also very greedy~" Cyclone chuckled, but surprisingly Hilmirya was not angry.

"Greedy?" Cyclone could only describe her as naively innocent.

"It would be better if you focused on studying medicine instead of being distracted by learning magic, isn't that called being greedy?"

"Why can't I learn both? Both can save lives," Hilmirya replied.

"Is that so..." Cyclone had no argument against that.

"Right, since both can save lives, then we should learn both!" Hilmirya proudly shared her dream with a gentle smile.

In that moment, Cyclone felt as if he saw an angel.

But in the midst of this happiness, Hilmirya suddenly stood up.

"T-there's actually something I want to tell you..."

Putting down the food in her hand, Hilmirya became serious.

She placed her hand behind her head in uncertainty.

Suddenly, Hilmirya bowed.

"I'm sorry!!"
