(178) Dawn Before the War

178,

After a night of turmoil, the day of departure finally arrived.

Cyclone had heard many stories of war.

The vast sea of people, lined up in neat formations, dozens of armies ready to march forward.

There were soldiers on foot, soldiers on horseback, a staggering scene of countless soldiers moving in the same direction...

But this time was different.

Before this expedition, Cyclone understood that it would be different from what he knew about previous expeditions.

He didn't even know where they were gathering, only that they had to be ready to leave in the morning.

Cyclone stood in front of the mansion gate, arms crossed, looking on.

A carriage was waiting, driven by a puppet.

He had already put on women's clothing, just like yesterday, with an added chest to maintain a forward-leaning posture.

Inside the carriage, there was only Daniel.

Of course, he had already gotten off the carriage and, like Cyclone, was watching the people packing their belongings.

In marching and fighting, it was not advisable to bring meaningless luggage.

This was not a vacation, it was war.

Eileen had loaded the carriage with Magicite Crystals, and Little Dragon had prepared some simple ingredients.

Unlike when they returned home earlier, this time the carriage did not carry those sexy clothes, only a few simple outfits.

After everything was organized, Cyclone, Eileen, Little Dragon, Shia, Chio, and Daniel set off together.

"Cyclone, I understand why you brought Shia, but what about his sister..." Daniel asked worriedly.

"No, absolutely not!" Chio was the first to refuse, rather than Cyclone.

But since it concerned their lives, Daniel still hoped she would get off the carriage.

Seeing Daniel trying to get Chio off the carriage, Cyclone had no choice but to speak up.

"It's okay. They've been together since they were little. Separating them will only distract Shia. Let them come along, I'll take responsibility if anything happens."

Hearing Cyclone say this, Daniel reluctantly accepted.

During the journey in the carriage, Cyclone decided to ask some questions to divert Daniel's thoughts from Chio.

"By the way, Daniel, how many people do we have?"

"Twenty-five thousand, plus five thousand from the City of Dusk. We have a total of thirty thousand troops!"

Daniel said confidently.

"Oh, really?"

After a while, Cyclone asked again.

"And... how many do they have? Have you calculated that?"

"Of course, the demons should have around three hundred thousand."

"..."

Upon hearing this, Cyclone was momentarily stunned.

Then he calmly looked at Little Dragon.

"Should we turn back?"

"Hahaha."

Daniel laughed, while tears welled up in Cyclone's eyes.

Although Cyclone knew that Daniel was a man with plans and strategies, hearing the comparison of these numbers, Cyclone could only laugh through tears.

"Damn it! How are we supposed to fight this?"

"No problem."

Daniel answered calmly.

Indeed, Cyclone knew there was no problem. Even though he heard Daniel say that, Cyclone never got off the carriage.

"Is your strategy that amazing?"

In fact, Cyclone knew that if it wasn't amazing, how could they have the confidence to win against an army of three hundred thousand with thirty thousand troops?

But more importantly, Cyclone was just casually asking these questions.

Although both wives were holding his hand with worry, and the two children were listening nervously, Cyclone didn't feel afraid.

Because from the beginning, Cyclone didn't care about winning or losing.

On the surface, Cyclone stood with the Allen army, but the reason he went to war was only for Yuna.

That's why Cyclone brought his two wives. If anything were to happen, he could take Yuna and his wives and turn around to escape.

"Alright, Daniel, these things don't matter anyway, I'm sure you've already come up with a plan, right?" Daniel just smiled.

"Where are we going now?"

"I'm taking Cyclone to another rendezvous point."

"Rendezvous?"

"Yes. There, there is someone just like you, with a name that can inspire the troops."
