"Taoxiang, you're so slow!" Just as Wen Xiaojing and I were passionately discussing the love story "My Love Story with the Girls," Stella suddenly walked in. She must have been feeling heavyhearted because of what happened earlier.

"Sorry, Xiaojing," Stella forced a smile and replied, "Something happened."

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing really happened," Stella tried to conceal it, but no matter how hard she tried, her troubled expression gave it away.

"It doesn't seem right."

"I'm fine, what's wrong?"

"Tell us quickly, don't think I don't know."

Wen Xiaojing seemed to have sensed something was off.

"It's really nothing," Stella said with a gloomy face.

"If you don't say it, I'll tickle you," without any hesitation, Wen Xiaojing reached under Stella's armpits with her hands, making a quivering sound like plucking guitar strings.

"It's so ticklish, so ticklish!" Stella couldn't bear this intense attack and almost collapsed.

"Then say it quickly, or I'll tickle your feet," Wen Xiaojing clearly wasn't planning to give up.

"Xiaojing, you're really mean," Stella said, tears streaming down her face.

"Senpai, should I not have done this?"

"Figure it out yourself."

Even though she knew this tickling torture was akin to torture, she still carried on, looking at the confused Wen Xiaojing, I sighed inwardly and handed Stella a tissue.

"Thanks, Youjie-senpai." Stella took the tissue and wiped her tears.

"Is it because someone confessed to you just now?" There was no need to guess, I already had the answer in my heart.

"Why would Youjie-senpai know that?" Stella looked puzzled.

"Senpai, do you know something?" Wen Xiaojing stared at me.

"I just happened to see it. I saw a guy confessing to Stella earlier."

I originally wanted to be nonchalant, but both of them were looking at me. Honestly, I felt it was better to tell the truth.

"Is that true, Taoxiang?"

Stella nodded.

It seemed that the recent events had affected Stella.

"Who is this guy? Is he handsome?" Wen Xiaojing, you're asking too many questions.

"He's a classmate of mine."

"A classmate? Is he handsome?" Wen Xiaojing seemed to be unable to contain her curiosity. And stop asking if he's handsome or not repeatedly, it's really annoying.

"He's just average-looking. His name is Cao Nan."

So that guy's name is Cao Nan. His appearance is indeed not remarkable.

"Cao Nan? Why haven't I heard of him in your class? Everytime I come to find you, I don't recall hearing someone called by that name," Wen Xiaojing said.

"He sits at the back near the window. I don't know why, but he doesn't seem to have a good relationship with the others in the class," just like me before, he's a person with a weak presence. In middle school, I didn't make any friends, let alone a close friend. I also sat at the back near the window. Memories of those sad times suddenly came flooding back.

"What does he look like? Is he tall or skinny? The key is whether he's handsome or not," Wen Xiaojing said, mocking Stella.

"A bit chubby and wears glasses," Stella replied.

"Huh? That sounds like a dead fat otaku," Wen Xiaojing's expression suddenly changed.

"Just a bit chubby and wears glasses," Stella replied, not wanting to say something hurtful like Wen Xiaojing.

"And then? Did he confess to you?"

"It was today when I was on my way to the club, he stopped me and confessed," Stella explained.

"So Stella, you didn't accept, right?"

"I also didn't reject..."

"And you didn't reject properly?"

"No, I didn't," Stella nodded. Wen Xiaojing covered her face and fell into deep thought for a while.

"Stella, you should learn to reject in situations like this," Wen Xiaojing said angrily.

"I'm sorry, I..." Stella tried to apologize but was cut off by Wen Xiaojing.

"Don't apologize, Stella. It's because of this that you're constantly being bullied. You need to stand up for yourself and reject when necessary."

Wen Xiaojing seemed really angry, as if she had experienced similar situations before.

"I'm sorry, Xiaojing,"

"I told you not to apologize," Wen Xiaojing sighed and softened her tone as she looked at Stella's pitiful expression.

"Why have you been silent until now?"

"Well..." I couldn't get a word in.

"Since we've heard it now, since our club members have troubles, shouldn't we help each other and solve problems together? That's what a club, a team, should do."

Only now did I realize the meaning of the club's existence.

"Of course," I quickly added. As a senior, I felt responsible for making sure Stella didn't have to show such a sad expression.

"Then let's come up with a plan."

"You want a plan..." She seemed so quick-witted before, but now she needed someone else to help with the plan?

"In that case, just reject them straightforwardly," I suggested. I couldn't think of anything better than being honest. It might sting a little, but being decisive would be better for both parties.

"I thought you would come up with something better, something I couldn't think of," she said, with an unsatisfying attitude.

"Well, what's your opinion then?"

"If you don't like someone, just reject them straightforwardly," I repeated. What was wrong with what I said earlier?

It seemed like she wanted me to figure out what was behind this thick fog. Wen Xiaojing added, "Language is an art, so you have to come up with the right words to say, so as not to give the other person any chance."

"I see," I said.

"Cough cough, so it's like playing a visual novel game, the content of the options is crucial," she said, impressively connecting it to a dating game.

"So, senior, do you have any good dialogues in mind?"

"You asked me so suddenly, I don't know exactly what to say," I didn't expect a refusal to lead to such complexity.

"Well, in that case, let's do a role play simulation."

As we said that, we entered into the simulation.

"Senpai, you play as Cao Nan,"

"Why do I have to play as Cao Nan?"

"Alright, stop talking nonsense."

Wen Xiaojing, this guy, never listens to what others say and never considers others' feelings.

"So, Peach now rejects his confession."

"Ah... rejected?" Stella suddenly blushed, looking shy.

"This is just a simulation, imagine that Senpai is Cao Nan."

Stella closed her eyes, took a deep breath, seemingly preparing to get into character.

"Um... Youjie Senpai,"

"It's Cao Nan!"

Wen Xiaojing made an "X" gesture.

"Cao Nan, I... I..." Stella's gaze met mine and her face turned red all of a sudden.

"It's Cao Nan! What's with this shyness, Peach?"

Wen Xiaojing made an "X" gesture again.

"I'm sorry..." Stella quickly apologized. I glanced at Stella and even felt a bit embarrassed.

"Let's do it again," Wen Xiaojing didn't plan to end it like this.

"Cao Nan, I..."

"Peach, this won't work, let me teach you, follow me and read it out loud."

"You stupid, fat otaku, trying to pursue me a billion light-years too early," I couldn't see this kind of momentum from her.

"You... you fat otaku, trying to pursue me..." Stella couldn't pull off that kind of momentum at all.

"You can't say it like that?" It's easy for you to say, but the person involved might not be able to say it. I silently criticized in my heart.

"If it doesn't work like this, then try a different approach," Wen Xiaojing pondered for a moment.

"Take a good look at your own behavior, a toad trying to eat swan meat, I won't like you! Why do you have to act superior like this?"

"This kind of..."

"Still not working? Then... you filthy low-life, lick it, how about that? Do you want to accept my whipping?!" Wen Xiaojing even made a motion waving a whip. What was this? Queen attribute? By the way, where did she learn this from? But this clearly deviates from the main theme, right?

"Um..." Even Stella had a confused expression.

"This won't work, Peach." Wen Xiaojing had a serious expression again, making Stella want to retreat.

"Let Stella do it herself. No matter what she wants to say, she should say it herself. Even if you give her a lot of advice, her own words will always be better than any technique,"

"Well, that's true," Wen Xiaojing slightly let go of her stubbornness.

"So, Stella, just express your own thoughts and emotions,"

"I'll give it a try," Stella covered her chest, adjusted her breathing, and got ready.

"Cao Nan, I..." But in the end, I still failed. I don't know if it's because she's the object of my affection, but we spent a lot of time, and before we knew it, it was already dark outside. Wen Xiaojing seemed unable to handle it and left first.

"Youjie, I'm sorry. I guess I disappointed you all," Stella said apologetically as we came out of the club building.

"It's not Stella's fault. After all, doing something you're not good at takes time," I replied.

"In middle school, I also had similar experiences. I couldn't refuse others properly, so I was forced by a group of assertive girls in my class to buy things for them. Sometimes, if I bought the wrong things, I would be scolded by them. I really hated going to school back then. It wasn't until I met Xiaojing that she stood up for me. But now, we're not in the same class, so I have to handle a lot of things on my own."

I never expected that Stella had also gone through similar experiences, but now it seems that she is making a lot of effort.

"So believe in yourself and go home early. Let's discuss our strategy tomorrow."

"Taoxiang, you should leave quickly, or else it'll be completely dark."

It seems that Wen Xiaojing didn't abandon Stella. Precious friendship seems to have transcended at this moment.

"See you tomorrow, Youjie."

"See you tomorrow."

"If you don't come soon, I'll have to leave on my own, you know."

"I'm coming..."

As I watched Stella wave goodbye to me, besides envying their friendship, I also thought being a student from another school must be nice.
