After school, I sat alone on the bench under the tree, as if contemplating life. A shout from a "senior" snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Stella," I replied, nodding. "Yes, Stella. Can I sit here?"

"Of course," I offered her a seat, wondering why Stella would voluntarily seek me out. Once Stella sat down, she maintained a proper posture, looking quite reserved.

"Um, senior," she gathered her courage. "What is it?" I wondered, suspicious of this peculiar feeling.

"Could you please help Xiao Jing?" Stella abruptly made this request.

"In fact, I already..."

"Xiao Jing has a strong interest in this club and a determination to create it, but now... she faces a shortage of members and..."

Stella's tone carried a pleading undertone, yet her body trembled as if she would burst into tears at any moment.

"But... I just entered this school and I lack social connections. Besides, we can easily advertise and..."

"We have considered many solutions in this regard. After all, literature and scientific exploration clubs are more prominent at the moment. Of course, Xiao Jing's Joy Club also has its own highlights."

I couldn't think of any highlights.

"So, if we gather one more member, can we submit the club application?"

"Well, that's right... but," Stella hesitated.

"But what?"

"Even if we gather club members, there's still the issue of a faculty advisor."

"What?" Shaken to my core, I stood up from my seat.

"No faculty advisor?"

"We are trying to find one, but it seems no teacher is willing," Stella looked troubled.

"So, you want me to take care of this too?"

Without hesitation, Stella nodded her head.

"But... I don't even have a substitute in mind, yet I've taken on this heavy burden."

"I'm begging you, senior," Stella desperately held my hand, her teary eyes making it heartrending to refuse.

"Alright, alright, I understand," I gave in. Even if I refused, they might still find some special means to convince me.

"Thank you, senior," Stella smiled faintly. I wanted to tell her not to have too much hope for me, but the words never left my mouth.

The two of us fell silent. Stella noticed her seemingly intimate gesture and quickly withdrew her hand, but her blushing cheeks were still hard to conceal.

"Well then, senior, I wish you all the best," Stella said as she stood up, bowed, and then left.

I sat on the bench, my head throbbing even more now.

Whom should I recruit and who should I ask to be the faculty advisor? This headache is driving me crazy. I really want to find a place to hide for a while.

"Youjie, a student called you," someone seemed to call me. I turned towards the voice and found it was Zhong Meiya, our homeroom teacher.

Encountering the homeroom teacher in the hallway was an interesting experience.

"School's over. Are you still here?" Teacher Zhong Meiya asked me.

"Ah... I have nothing to do."

"If you have nothing to do, can you help the teacher? I have a lot of assignments here. Can you assist me?"

Teacher Zhong Meiya was truly hardworking, doing all the work herself. Wasn't there a class monitor for these tasks?

Taking over more than half, to be honest, it's quite heavy.

"Do you understand what you took?"

"No problem."

"Indeed, you are a reliable young man," Teacher Zhong Meiya said with a smile.
