"What does it mean when we agreed to go home together, but didn't see anyone for half a day?"

I stood at the school gate and waited for Su Yuqian for a long time, but she was nowhere to be found. Not to mention going home, even if she was participating in club activities, she should have finished and be ready to leave the school.

"This Miss," I complained, "doesn't reply to messages, doesn't answer calls, what is she doing?"

Unwilling to continue waiting, I ran into the school building and went to the so-called cosplay club, only to find that the club room was locked.

Where could she have gone? Confused, I ran back to the classroom, only to find it empty as well.

"Could it be... she went back?"

This thought crossed my mind, but I immediately dismissed it. Despite Su Yuqian's rebellious personality, she wouldn't play such tricks.

Did I miss her? No... I carefully looked at the students coming out of the school gate, and even if that were the case, there was no reason for her not to answer the phone.

Where did she go? I felt a sense of urgency, running like a headless fly in the corridor.

Suddenly, something came to mind and flashed through my brain.

"Brother You, she was probably influenced by those girls to say those things to me. I'm not angry, I'm just angry at those girls who influenced Brother You!"

On Wednesday, An Lisi sent me a message like this, but I didn't pay much attention to it at the time. Now, I wondered if it had any connection to Su Yuqian's disappearance.

I felt uneasy, but if that was the case...

Without thinking, I left the school building.

"Excuse me, have you seen a girl with golden double ponytails?"

I asked the students who were still chatting at school and didn't plan to go home.

"No, I haven't seen her."

"Thank you."

"Have you seen a girl with golden double ponytails?"

I came across a girl wearing black-framed glasses, with her hair in braids, and holding a book in her hand.

"Golden double ponytails?"

"Yes... have you seen...?"

"Hmm~" She stroked her chin, trying hard to remember.

"Is it really golden double ponytails?"

"Of course, why would I joke about it? I genuinely asked you."

"Hmm..." She adjusted her glasses, and her calm and leisurely demeanor made me anxious.

"It seems like you haven't seen her..."

I turned around and prepared to go elsewhere. I didn't want to waste any more time.

"I saw her going to the sports warehouse..."

"Really?"

"I didn't see clearly... it seemed like she had golden hair though."

Before she could confirm further, I immediately ran towards the sports warehouse. Whether Su Yuqian was there or not, I had to confirm it. When I reached the warehouse door, I noticed it was closed.

"It's because of you that Brother You was forced into this, so he had no choice but to be with you, it must be like this," I heard An Lisi's voice from inside the warehouse. Through the crack in the door, I saw An Lisi holding a broken wooden stick and seemed to be having a conversation with someone, getting closer step by step.

I glanced at the floor of the warehouse and saw Su Yuqian sitting there, looking tired with blood on her face for some reason.

I had a bad feeling about what was going to happen, so I quickly pushed open the door and rushed in. An Lisi had raised the wooden stick high, her expression like a demon.

"What are you doing!?" I caught An Lisi just before she could strike down with the stick. Although I caught it, my hand felt a searing pain.

"Yu Gege?" An Lisi looked surprised.

"Do you know what you're doing?!" I questioned.

"Yu Gege, have you come? Why are you trying to stop me from getting rid of this bewitching fairy?"

"Are you crazy?!" I said loudly.

"I know Yu Gege can't get out on his own, but it's okay, I'll help him get out. As long as this fairy with magic dies, the magic will naturally be broken," An Lisi persisted.

"Enough!" I forcefully grabbed the broken stick from An Lisi's hand and threw it away, the stick hitting the wall with a dull sound.

Ignoring An Lisi's stunned state, I immediately picked up Su Yuqian.

"Yu Gege..."

An Lisi seemed to come back to her senses, but even if she called my name countless times, I didn't turn back.

And she also gave a warning: "If you do something like this again, I won't be polite."

We left the gymnasium and headed straight for the infirmary. Fortunately, the door was not locked, but when we pushed it open, we found that the teacher wasn't there. Is it the same situation again?

Can't the teacher in the infirmary be more dedicated? Nevertheless, I didn't hesitate and had Su Yuqian sit on the bed. I stopped the bleeding from her wound.

"It might hurt a bit," I said to Su Yuqian as I started applying the medicine. Su Yuqian, however, didn't say anything. Could it be...

"I'm not dumb," she suddenly spoke up, causing me to pause. After a few seconds, I continued.

"Does it hurt?"

"..." Su Yuqian kept staring at my face, making me feel a bit uneasy.

And her silence made me anxious.

"It hurts, it hurts..."

"Sorry, I applied too much force."

It's all because she kept silent and looked at my face that I became nervous and applied too much force.

"So clumsy..."

Why do I have to be scolded?

"Alright..." Finally, I finished cleaning the wound, disinfected it with alcohol, and applied the medicine. It should be fine, but there's some swelling in a certain area.

"Thank... thank you," Su Yuqian blushed.

"Huh?"

"Don't make me say it again!"

Why is she suddenly getting angry?

"If something like this happens again, you must let me know. Don't be so reckless."

"Okay..."

I didn't expect Su Yuqian to obediently nod.

"Can you still move?"

"I'm not a vegetable. Of course, I can walk," Su Yuqian said as she stood up, but she seemed to have weak legs and sat back down.

"Why isn't your body obeying?"

"Don't pretend to be strong. Alright, I'll carry you on my back. Let's go home."

As I said that, I bent down.

"Ah! It's so itchy, you idiot!"

"Don't move!"

Getting Su Yuqian to let me carry her obediently wasn't easy.

"My backpack... it's still in the gymnasium."

"I'll get it back for you tomorrow."

"Okay..."
