"Zhiye, Zhiye, look," it was late at night and I couldn't sleep, so I went out to the hallway and sat on the steps, looking at the moon hanging in the sky. Lomira, the mischievous kid, took out a large glass bottle filled with a strange black liquid and showed off, "It seems like it can move," she said, as I observed it and said, "Of course, Baram is my pet, you know," she replied.

"A pet? Does it have any practical use? Like dogs, they can protect their owners, you know," I joked. "Oh, Baram is even more powerful than a dog," she claimed. "Really? But it looks so small," I said. "Don't underestimate Baram," she exclaimed.

"But it looks really small," I insisted. "Don't be fooled by its size. As long as it gets nutrients, it can grow exponentially. In human terms, it's like malignant cells," she explained. "That powerful? So what does it feed on?" I asked, curious about what this little creature could feed on. "Blood... human blood. But Baram is not gentle, it devours the whole body," Lomira explained reluctantly. Hearing this shocked me even more, realizing that the girl who turned into a puddle of blood earlier was not an illusion. How could there be such terrifying creatures? "Zhiye, don't worry, Baram will never harm you," Lomira reassured me, understanding my thoughts. "Why? Will this bloodthirsty monster obey your commands?" I asked skeptically. "Baram is my pet, so it will definitely listen to me," she replied. Although she said so, I wanted her to demonstrate it practically: could she really make these black, slime-like creatures obedient? However, Lomira put the large mouth bottle back into her bag and sat cutely next to me, so I didn't insist on her demonstrating it. "Zhiye, Zhiye..." she whined like a child. I touched her head as I had done before, and she enjoyed it like a cat. "Zhiye, by the way, why aren't you sleeping so late tonight?" Lomira asked, looking up at me. "I'm excited. I can go on a date with Jie tomorrow," I answered, feeling as sweet as eating honey. "That boy again?" she asked. "Yes...what's wrong?" I replied. "It seems like your thoughts are all on him, Zhiye," Lomira pouted. "If I don't have him, I won't exist anymore," I said. "What about me?" she asked. "Hmm? What is Lomira?" I pretended to think, stroking my chin. "Zhiye!!!" Lomira couldn't take it anymore and shouted loudly. "Shhh...don't wake Jie up," I hushed her. "Hmm..." Lomira closed her mouth dissatisfied. "Lomira is also a very good friend of mine," I said with a smile. "Hmm..." "We should get along well," I said. "I can't get along well with that boy! I want..." Lomira took out the glass bottle. "Lomira, if you do anything to harm Jie... not only will I turn against you, but I will also make you pay double," I threatened. "I don't want to turn against Zhiye," she replied. "Good, then listen and behave. And don't show up in front of humans unless necessary," I instructed. "Oh... I'll disguise myself well and avoid being noticed by humans," she said. "That's good... it's getting late, go to sleep," I stood up, realizing that there were things I needed to prepare for tomorrow's date. "Are you going to sleep?" "Yes... Goodnight, Lomira," "Goodnight," after saying goodnight to each other, I went back to my bedroom, feeling particularly happy as I looked at Jie's sleeping face before falling asleep.
