Chapter 6: Elsa's Call
update icon Updated at 2025/8/13 15:10:12

Green suddenly thought of the hell he had been to before, and the scene when he first entered seemed very similar to this one, but Green felt that this was not hell because there was no strong gloomy atmosphere like in hell. Instead, Green could feel a very calming atmosphere here.

But Green did not relax his guard because of this. Instead, he stopped and used the power of the Source to expand his perception of self as energy spread out.

After the perception spread out, Green discovered something that surprised him.

Just like the existence of the white creature from earlier, there were now more than a dozen of them gathered not far away. However, these white things had no movement and just stood still, as if they were already dead.

Green also enveloped himself with the power of the Source and source energy, then began to approach those white beings.

As Green approached, he found that these guys were really like dead bodies, even when Green was less than a meter away from them, they showed no reaction.

"What exactly is going on?"

Green observed these white things, which looked like balloons, with confusion. They had just fiercely attacked him earlier, so why were there so many of them now just standing still?

Just then, their heads suddenly twisted a few times, all looking at Green.

But as Green prepared for defense, he noticed that these unknown beings emitted a faint golden light on their bodies, and then turned into dots of light and disappeared, leaving nothing behind.

Seeing this scene, Green was dumbfounded, only able to stare at the empty ground.

However, Green suddenly noticed that the terrain nearby was riddled with holes and there was a building resembling a palace not far away, but it was now in ruins as if there had been a fierce battle here shortly before he arrived.

Green continued to observe for a while but couldn't find any answers, so he could only return the way he came.

When Green walked out of the door and returned to the pedestal, he shifted his gaze to the other doors and randomly chose one to enter. However, not long after, Green returned to the same place and shook his head, then went to another location to continue entering.

This was repeated several times until Green realized that all the spaces were in ruins as if there had been intense battles, and he never found the existence of those white things again.

Finally, Green returned to the presence of the God of Light. Although there were some traces here, it was much better compared to the other places.

"Could it be that all those gods are dead?"

This thought suddenly occurred to Green, and the more he thought about it, the more possible it seemed. Whether it was himself from the parallel world or the Elf King, such a thing could happen.

Although the version of himself in that world was losing power, and now Green suspected that the gods were killed by those white things, after all, these were two different worlds. Moreover, Green, despite being strong, was essentially human, and the slight differences could be completely ignored at this moment, preparing for the worst.

"Balibeil, as a weapon of the Universal Overlord, do you have any knowledge of these circumstances?"

"Master, I am not aware."

"Alright..."

Green shook his head, feeling somewhat disappointed even though he didn't expect much to begin with. And just as Green was preparing to go to the realm of demons to see what was happening, he realized that the door connecting heaven and the demon realm, for some unknown reason, could not be found.

Meanwhile, a fierce battle was taking place in the demon realm.

"Salo Uth! Clitz!"

Gothner, with his heavily injured body, cried out to the two figures flying out again, his voice filled with anger. Then his angry gaze fell upon a white figure not far away—the "Messenger of Source Power."

At this moment, the God of Light had already awakened, but he had completely lost his former power. He lay on the ground of the demon realm, gazing at the deep blue sky and breathing in the fresh air of the demon realm, unable to help but think of Green.

Green, the miraculous person who had changed the entire demon realm, was a miracle in his eyes.

However, his gaze then turned to the Messenger of Source Power, who was slowly approaching him. Even if Green were here, he probably wouldn't be a match for this guy, who seemed much stronger than the previous one.

Not only that, there were also many more of them than before.

There were a total of four.

The God of Light naturally understood why things had turned out this way. It was simply because he had escaped from heaven and destroyed the door between the two realms. Under the consciousness of the world's original power, new Messengers of Source Power were born, their target now being the three former demon kings.

Gothner's power far surpassed that of the God of Light, making the Messenger of Source Power who fought against Gothner the strongest. Clitz, Salo Uth, and the God of Light had approximately equal strength. Although the Messengers of Source Power they were fighting against had weakened a lot, it was still easy to eliminate them.

"I'm sorry for dragging you all into this..."

The God of Light's voice was filled with remorse. In reality, he had intended to seek Green's help and provide him with information, but Green was not in the demon realm at the moment. The actions of the Messengers of Source Power were also incredibly fast, as they had returned so soon.

He was, after all, a deity. Yet now, he was in such a state, and he had also brought trouble to Salo Uth and the others.

Although the three of them would eventually be tamed by the Messengers of Source Power, without the God of Light, they might not have encountered the Messengers of Source Power so quickly.

"What's there to apologize for... You're still a deity, don't give up so easily!"

Salo Uth stood up once again, countless times. The reason he was able to stand up was simple: to protect Elsa.

With Green absent, it should be him who protected Elsa's safety. Even though these Messengers of Source Power did not intend to harm Elsa due to her weak power, Salo Uth could find solace in this fact.

If the God of Light had not deceived them, Elsa would eventually be reclaimed by the consciousness of the world's original power. Not only Elsa, but the entire demon realm, and even the human world, would suffer the same fate.

"This white dog-like thing is beyond merciless. My old bones can't take it anymore...!"

Clitz forced himself to stand up, honestly admitting that if it weren't for his previous absorption of the partial energy of the Heart of the Universe, he would have died long ago. Thanks to the partial energy of the Heart of the Universe, his vitality had become so tenacious.

At this moment, Elsa was watching the battlefield from a distance, as were the other demons. They were completely unable to intervene in the battle. Although the Messengers of Source Power would not directly attack them, they would not go out of their way to avoid them either when launching their attacks.

If I go ahead, I will just die in vain.

Elsa wished so much for Green to appear at this moment, but she was also afraid. She was afraid that once Green returned to the human realm and stayed with Aloof, he would never come back. After all, Aloof was Green's legitimate wife, while she was just someone he had a relationship with, a relationship that couldn't compare to what he had with Aloof.

Perhaps this thought was too irrational, even illogical, but Elsa couldn't stop the uneasiness in her heart.

Especially in the current situation, the appearance of the Source Force Messenger amplified Elsa's unease multiple times. At this moment, Elsa could hardly think of anything else besides Green.

Watching Saro Uth and the others getting hit continuously and struggling to get up, barely able to stand on their feet.

Seeing the Source Force Messenger getting closer to Saro Uth, lifting his head and emitting a faint golden light, Elsa's intense unease surged from the depths of her heart.

Elsa rushed towards them, activating the magic power in her body, channeling all her strength into a strike against the Source Force Messenger who was holding Saro Uth, but her attack had no effect, not even attracting the attention of the Source Force Messenger.

Feeling so powerless, Elsa despairingly knelt down, instinctively clutching her chest. Tears welled up in the corners of her eyes, and she eventually let out a weak cry:

"Green, please, save my grandfather--"

Her voice wasn't loud, but it seemed to possess a magical power.

In Elsa's voice of hope tinged with despair, the surrounding space began to tremble inexplicably. The movements of the Source Force Messengers stopped, and they turned their gaze towards Elsa's direction, but their black eyes showed no sign of emotion or expression.

Suddenly, cracks appeared in the space in front of Elsa, followed by the sound of glass breaking. The space tore open, revealing a huge rift, and a blond man walked out from the pitch-black rift.

Elsa stared blankly at the man's back. After a moment of daze, she realized something and spoke, her voice filled with incredulity:

"Green... Is that you?"

Green turned around, and his icy eyes suddenly blossomed into a smile. Influenced by the power of the Source, his eyes turned golden, incredibly infectious, bringing some comfort to Elsa's heart.

She heard Green apologize slightly:

"I'm sorry, I'm late."

And in the next moment, Green turned his head back, his eyes once again becoming icy. Unfortunately, these Source Force Messengers didn't have emotions, they remained indifferent, still staring at Green with their small black eyes.

Green unleashed all the remaining power of the Source within him, while condensing source energy into lightning in his hand. He aimed his palm at the Source Force Messenger next to Saro Uth.

Instead of a beam of energy, a black lightning suddenly descended from the sky, carrying a terrifying destructive force, directly striking the Source Force Messenger, turning him into a ball of light.

With just one strike, the Source Force Messenger who wanted to capture Saro Uth was eliminated.

The God of Light witnessed this scene and couldn't help but be astonished, even though he already knew about Green's power. His mouth opened wide in surprise and he quickly distanced himself from the opposite Source Force Messengers.

Clitz and Gothner were no exception. Just now, they were all exhausted dealing with their own enemies and had no time to pay attention to others. If Green had not appeared in time and taken care of Saro Uth, their fate would have been far from desirable.

Saro Uth struggled to stand up and walked towards Green, but before he could utter a word of thanks, he suddenly collapsed in front of him.

Green quickly caught Saro Uth and handed him over to Elsa.

Elsa anxiously examined Saro Uth's condition. For her, Saro Uth was currently her only family, although he was a real demon during training, he always took good care of her in normal times.

If Saro Uth were to disappear like this, it would be an extremely heavy blow to Elsa.

Fortunately, Green did not give up on the demon realm and returned to her side, instantly stabilizing the uneasiness in Elsa's heart. At this moment, she sincerely hoped that she would have the chance to become a real family with Green in the future.

Meanwhile, Green felt an intense coldness in her heart. The source energy in her hand condensed once again, without any hesitation and without giving these white fat men any chance to struggle. Three black lightning bolts descended from the sky and directly struck the remaining three white men.

After the light from the black lightning faded away, the three source energy envoys turned into identical white orbs of light. Then, Green unleashed her power of the source and absorbed all four orbs of energy, completely integrating them into her body for her own use.

From attacking to absorbing their leftover energy, the entire process was carried out smoothly and without any hesitation.
