One of the Minotaur looked at the round giant stone beside Green, excitement gleaming in his eyes.
"It can't be wrong, this feeling is definitely The Heart of the Universe!"
The appearance of The Heart of the Universe instantly made them lose interest in Elsa and instead focused all their attention on The Heart of the Universe.
Green didn't know how they identified it, but this stone was indeed extraordinary.
However, it felt strange to hear the name "The Heart of the Universe" coming from the mouths of these monster-like creatures, especially since Green had never heard of the concept of the universe in this world before.
Green had no way of knowing what The Heart of the Universe was exactly.
Elsa coughed violently, spitting out a mouthful of blood, indicating that her injuries were indeed severe.
Just by looking at her appearance, one could tell that Elsa was in a sorry state. Her clothes were tattered, covered in small wounds, and there was hardly a single intact place on her body. Her face was also covered in dirt, looking dirty and disheveled.
"You're Sarou Uth's granddaughter, right? The granddaughter of the Demon King looks so pathetic, it's really embarrassing."
Green's tone was somewhat helpless, but while teasing, he didn't forget to infuse source energy into Elsa's body. With the nourishment of source energy, Elsa's complexion became noticeably healthier, and the wounds on her body disappeared at a visible speed.
In just a few seconds, Elsa had returned to her vibrant appearance.
And because her clothes were so torn, she looked even more tempting, causing the surrounding males to unconsciously blush.
It was fortunate that her clothes were not completely torn, otherwise Elsa might release a terrifying killing intent towards them.
Fortunately, everyone understood that now was not the time to care about such matters.
"Who are you?"
However, the Minotaur did not pay attention to their loud questioning. Instead, they disregarded them as insignificant and excitedly discussed, then walked towards The Heart of the Universe beside Green.
"A Heart of the Universe this big. If we offer it to Lord Clitz, I can't imagine what kind of reward we'll receive."
"Now our status in Lord Clitz's eyes will surely be higher than the pig-headed demons, right?"
"Of course. I've long been dissatisfied with those stupid pigs. Clearly, they have no abilities and look so ugly, yet they can become Lord Clitz's right-hand men. It's an insult to our noble and powerful Minotaurs!"
The Minotaur discussed enthusiastically, one after another.
However, when one of the Minotaurs reached out to touch The Heart of the Universe, an arm suddenly appeared from somewhere and grabbed his wrist.
"Who are you!"
The Minotaur roared in anger, then followed the arm's gaze and saw that the one holding his arm was none other than Green, who was closest to The Heart of the Universe.
"Hey, what are you doing? Just a human from the lower realm. Hurry up and kill him, then take The Heart of the Universe and leave. What could be more important than this?"
"But... Ah-!"
Just as the minotaur was about to refute his companion's doubts, he felt a tremendous force on his wrist, accompanied by a crisp sound of bones breaking. A scream that could not be suppressed immediately rang out.
Seeing this, the other minotaurs visibly faltered, as if they had never expected such a thing to happen.
They looked at Green and found that his face was full of displeasure.
"I hate people like you who think they are superior and look down on their enemies."
After saying this, Green realized that something seemed off and added, "Although sometimes I am like that too, but that's none of my damn business."
Upon hearing Green's shameless words, the corners of the other minotaurs' mouths twitched.
"Kid, no matter how strong you are in the human world, you have no chance of winning against us in the demon realm."
"Oh? Is that so?"
"Yes, it is!"
A slight smile appeared on Green's lips.
The next moment, the minotaur in his hand was thrown by Green at the other minotaurs with a speed that was difficult to observe with the naked eye. Without any surprise, it hit its target.
In an instant, more than one cow-like scream filled the space.
Upon witnessing Green's powerful attack, Elsa suddenly remembered that this human in front of her had defeated her grandfather. How could he be afraid of a mere minion of the Demon King?
After dealing with a few minotaurs, Green turned his gaze to Elsa.
"What did you say about the Skeleton King? Tell me in detail."
"Um... The Skeleton King is one of the three Demon Kings in the demon realm. He is called the Skeleton King because he is a skeleton. His strength is not comparable to my grandfather, Saro Uth, but he has many followers and overall, his strength is pretty strong."
"So you mean there are many weaklings like the minotaurs just now?"
"Well... um?"
Seeing the disdainful expression on Green's face, Elsa was slightly taken aback. The army of the Skeleton King was not to be underestimated even by Saro Uth, her grandfather. However, in Green's view, they seemed insignificant like ants.
Even though she knew Green was very strong, Elsa still felt that he was exaggerating.
Just then, a minotaur covered in wounds rushed out from where the minotaurs had been standing just now. His face was determined, and there was no hesitation in his eyes and movements. He quickly threw himself towards The Heart of the Universe at the fastest speed, and then the entire minotaur, along with The Heart of the Universe, disappeared from this space.
The whole process took less than a second, so fast that besides Green and Elsa, no one else could see what had happened in that short moment. All they saw was a blur, and the huge egg disappeared.
"This..."
Rauguth, the leader of the lizard demons, looked at this scene and uttered a dazed voice. Although he didn't know what it was, as something born in their ancestral territory, they naturally had the duty to protect it.
Rauguth couldn't accept that it had disappeared so suddenly and without any reason.
However, just then, there was a scattered sound of stones colliding from not far away.
A few beaten-up minotaurs stood up groggily, swaying as if they were about to fall to the ground at any moment.
One of them, still slurring, muttered, "Where is The Heart of the Universe? How did it disappear...?"
It seemed that they hadn't realized yet that they had been abandoned by their companions.
Just then, a soldier rushed in from outside, shouting loudly before even stabilizing himself, "Lord Rauguth, the monsters outside have stopped attacking. They have regained their sanity!"
"What? Recovered sanity? That's great!"
Elsa heard the conversation between the two and quietly explained to Green.
"The rampage of those Monsters was all the work of the Minotaur. It's possible that their skills failed because you were too rough with them."
"Is that so? I just returned their companions to them gently..."
Green had an innocent look on his face, but Elsa could tell that he was intentionally acting like that. She couldn't help but think that Green was a very dangerous person.
"The Minotaur with The Heart of the Universe escaped back to the Demon Realm just now. I am confident that I can defeat him alone, so I need to hurry back and stop him before he joins his companions. What are you going to do with these few?" Elsa looked at the few Minotaurs who were gradually regaining consciousness and becoming terrified, and asked Green.
After pondering for a moment, Green didn't hesitate to cripple them in front of their desperate eyes, and then bound them up and handed them over to the leader of the Lizard Demons, Rauguth.
When Rauguth learned that these Minotaurs were the true culprits behind all the anomalies, he was filled with anger. When he heard that Green wanted to hand these Minotaurs over to them, Rauguth immediately lowered his body and expressed gratitude to Green, declaring that if Green ever needed them, they would be at his command.
Green did not refuse this.
Although he didn't think these Lizard Demons would be of much use, it didn't matter since it wasn't a bad thing.
Afterwards, those Minotaurs were naturally sentenced to death in front of the surviving Monsters, and Green and his group received various praises because of it.
After all, the Monsters here had not had much contact with humans. If they were to tell others about how these Monsters treated humans, no one would believe it.
Afterwards, Sofia and the others successfully excavated a large amount of Largragon stone.
For the Lizard Demons and the others, if Green was indeed the chosen one from the prophecy, then it didn't matter to give him the Largragon stone. Perhaps their ancestors instructed them to guard these strange stones because they foresaw what would happen now.
However, Green was no longer interested in the Largragon stone at this time. He was more interested in The Heart of the Universe mentioned by the Minotaurs.
Therefore, when Elsa prepared to return to the Demon Realm to chase after the escaped Minotaur, Green also expressed his intention to go with her.
Even though the team hoped that Green would continue to accompany them, after experiencing the terrifying aura of the Minotaurs, they realized that something extraordinary had happened. So even though they didn't know exactly what had happened, no one asked.
After bidding farewell to Sofia and her group, Green held Elsa's hand and disappeared from the sight of the others, transferring to the Demon Realm.
