Tia retorted loudly, and Caesar, faced with her intense reaction, sighed heavily as if resigned to his fate.

"So, is he the boyfriend you brought back?"

"Um... yes."

Under Caesar's questioning gaze, Tia blushed slightly and glanced cautiously at Green. Green, who was not one to break his promises, nodded casually upon hearing Tia's answer.

"I heard you like powerful son-in-laws. I wonder how I measure up in your eyes?"

"... "

Caesar fell silent for a moment, then sat up on the bed and looked around, realizing that he was in his own private room. There was still some lingering presence outside the door, likely soldiers patrolling and guarding the area.

Suddenly, Caesar felt a slight pain in his forehead, reminding him of the last scene before he lost consciousness. He then glanced at Green with a hint of shock in his eyes. He couldn't believe that such a young firecracker could defeat him with a snap of his fingers. It wasn't just a one-sided victory, it was a complete defeat.

"Very impressive. Your strength far surpasses mine. I can trust Tia in your hands."

Upon hearing Caesar's words, Tia smiled, seemingly having successfully fooled her father. From now on, all she needed to do was find a way to excuse herself and leave this place, and she wouldn't have to worry too much in the future.

But just as Tia was about to find an excuse to temporarily leave, Caesar suddenly said,

"However, I need a period of observation to confirm your true feelings for Tia."

When Caesar said this, his gaze became serious, and Tia immediately realized that he was being sincere.

This caught Green off guard. He had originally just wanted to help Tia deceive Caesar, but now that Caesar had brought this up, it seemed that their act as a fake couple would easily be exposed in the coming days.

However, they had no choice but to continue.

Tia suppressed the urge to protest, as revealing any flaws at this point would be too risky.

"Alright, then let's stay here for a while."

Seeing this, Green nodded in agreement.

However, as the two prepared to leave the room, Caesar suddenly called out to Green,

"Wait a minute, boy, what's your name?"

"Huh? I'm Green... What's the matter?"

"Green?"

Although Caesar didn't have a deep impression of the name, he didn't completely forget it either. His eyes flickered with shrewdness.

"I remember there was a country called the Kingdom of Green. The king there seems to have the same name as you."

"..."

Green stopped in his tracks and turned to look at Caesar. He hadn't expected Caesar to still remember him. It was then that Green remembered showing his identification to Caesar before. Perhaps Tia didn't remember it clearly, but it seemed that Caesar had clearly remembered the occasion.

But there was no need to hide this fact, so Green admitted it.

"Yes, the Green you mentioned is me."

As he spoke, Green showed his identification to Caesar. Upon seeing it, Caesar's eyes widened. It was exactly the same as the one he had seen in the hands of the masked Green.

"It seems that you are indeed the one I remembered..."

Caesar murmured quietly.

Seeing Green boldly admit his identity, Tia felt a bit panicked. Although Green didn't think too much about it, Tia remembered clearly that when Caesar wanted Green to become his son-in-law, Green had firmly rejected the idea. And now suddenly...

Tia had a feeling that something would be revealed if things continued this way, and the only way to maintain this "lie" seemed to be the only option.

It seemed that she couldn't delay the conquest of Green any longer.

At this moment, Green had no idea that Tia had already made a secret plan to conquer him in her mind. He simply looked at Caesar, who was deep in thought, and after a moment, Caesar raised his head again. The words that came out of his mouth were exactly what Tia had anticipated.

"If I remember correctly, you once seemed to have refused this matter, am I correct? Why, do you regret it now? Or perhaps... have you finally realized how amazing of a girl my daughter is?"

To Green's surprise, Caesar's eyes seemed to gleam with a hint of satisfaction as he spoke.

It appeared that Caesar didn't suspect anything between them and actually had a lot of faith.

Tia noticed this and felt slightly relieved.

"Well, of course, Father. Please have a little faith in me sometimes too!"

Tia said this with a hint of unease, glancing cautiously at Green, only to realize that Green didn't seem to react much, which slightly annoyed her.

Green didn't want to cause any trouble, so he went along with their intentions.

"Indeed, Princess Tia is a very exceptional person. I was clumsy to have refused before. I hope you can forgive me."

"Exactly! I told you so. It's impossible for an ordinary person to refuse to become Tia's husband. It seems that I have done a good job in grooming Tia!"

Caesar laughed heartily, looking delighted.

This made Tia feel a bit guilty, but Green didn't feel anything in particular.

He just thought that Caesar was not as bad as he had imagined, at least not yet.

"Well, Father, please rest here. I have something to discuss with Green."

"Understood, understood. I won't disturb the two of you. Hahaha!"

Caesar's understanding gaze made Tia's cheeks flush red in an instant, but she quickly regained her composure.

Then, she walked to Green's side and, in order to make them appear more like a couple, intentionally wrapped her arm around Green's.

At first, Green wanted to refuse, but he thought that it might raise suspicion in Caesar's mind, so he gave up resisting and became curious about what kind of nonsense Tia had said to Aloof and the others to convince them.

Curiosity aside, Green was not someone who liked to investigate everything to the end.

So, being led by Tia, the two of them left the room.

As soon as the guards outside saw them, they saluted respectfully and then became more vigilant of their surroundings.

Although this was the Imperial Palace of the Caesar Empire, it didn't mean that they could take it lightly, as no one dared to invade.

After leaving the room, Tia brought Green to a place with a relatively nice scenery, still within the palace, of course.

As soon as they sat down, Green sighed helplessly and asked, "So, what do we do next?"

"What do you mean?"

"Pretend to be your fiancé, of course."

Green sighed again. Although he had agreed to pretend to be Tia's fiancé earlier, he now felt that staying here and being observed for a period of time by Caesar would eventually expose the truth.

To this, Tia laughed uneasily, attempting to bluff her way through it.

"Don't worry about it too much. We can deal with it later, or maybe..."

"Or maybe what?"

Caught off guard by Green's inquiry and the direct gaze he gave her, Tia became nervous.

"Nothing... forget it..."

After some thought, Tia didn't have the courage to say it.

But hearing Tia's answer, Green gave her a look of disbelief, expressing his dissatisfaction with her approach.

"If you don't consider how to get through this while under your father's surveillance, I won't take responsibility for the consequences. If your father is not satisfied and drives me away, I won't care about your fate at that time."

"Um..."

Tia was at a loss for words.

Although she wanted to avoid this issue, it seemed that it was indeed the case.

Originally, the plan was for Tia to introduce Green to Caesar, then find some excuse and leave the Caesar Empire. As long as she could make her father trust Green and leave this place, they would definitely have plenty of free time afterward.

Tia planned to make Green fall for her during that time.

However, Caesar's words directly extended this timeline significantly.

And looking at Green, it seemed that he wasn't that easy to conquer, especially since there were already many beautiful girls around him...

It was really frustrating.

"Well, I'll figure something out. Or... you try harder to play the part!"

"How should I act in this scene?"

"Well..."

Tia absentmindedly poked her fingers here and there, and Green noticed this. At the same time, he also noticed that Tia's cheeks seemed much rosier than before.

Without thinking, Green blurted out, "Your face looks flushed. Could it be that you caught a chill in the sky earlier?"

"No way!... I'm a powerful magician, how could I get sick so easily!"

Although Tia immediately refuted it, her cheeks became even rosier as a result. She couldn't even look directly at Green, thinking that if he cared about her, she wouldn't dare to meet his gaze.

Seeing Tia's embarrassed appearance, a thought suddenly popped into Green's mind.

"Could it be that this guy..."

But Green didn't continue with that thought.

Due to Green not controlling his strength well during the day, Caesar only had the strength to get out of bed near sunset. His body had recovered about eighty to ninety percent.

While Caesar rested in bed, Tia took Green on a tour of the palace.

She gained a better understanding of the layout, although it didn't mean much to Green, who could fly directly into the sky.

Night fell.

Caesar was still very happy about Green's arrival, so not long after his recovery, he decided to hold a banquet to welcome Green.

Many important figures were invited to attend the feast.

Tia was very reluctant upon learning this news because their pretended romantic relationship could be exposed in such a public gathering with many people around.

After all, they would be under the watchful eyes of many.

But refusing was impossible, as they were the last to receive the news.

Shortly after they learned about the banquet, it officially began.

Green calmly attended the event as if nothing had happened. After all, it was a welcoming party for him, and he couldn't show disrespect to Caesar, who was the Emperor of the Caesar Empire.

However, upon arriving at the venue, Green was surprised by the large number of people present.

An initial estimate suggested that there were about fifty people.

Not a small number.

After all, everyone attending this banquet was a well-known figure outside, either powerful magicians or distinguished nobles.

There were even some excellent candidates that Caesar had previously searched for Tia.

Now that Green was here, they weren't needed anymore.

Because of this, these few individuals didn't have much goodwill towards Green and were very dissatisfied with being referred to as the fiancé of the Imperial Princess.

Under these circumstances, Green finally made his entrance.
