About two hours ago, the doorbell of the Hayamizu family rang.
He, who was playing a game in his room, hesitated for a moment since he didn't have any friends coming over, and then loudly shouted, "Mom, someone's at the door, go open it."
Then, he continued to play the game by himself.
Five minutes later, Hayamizu's door was kicked open with a loud "bang," which startled him.
As Hayamizu recovered, filled with anger, he turned around to see who dared to kick his door...
...when he saw it.
He was faced with a dark barrel pointed at him and the woman's mocking smile.
Hayamizu was truly stunned, completely petrified, experiencing this for the first time in his life, causing his brain to shut down completely, unsure how to respond.
In the short time, Hayamizu didn't initially recognize this woman because her appearance now was drastically different from what he remembered.
However, the sight of his mother being dragged by her hair to the ground, and the gun in this woman's hand, needed no further explanation for the reality.
Hayamizu couldn't react in this extremely short amount of time.
"Get inside." (Yuhè)
The woman pulled Hayamizu's mother up from the ground, pushed her into Hayamizu's room, and insidiously tripped her, causing her to fall.
Hayamizu stood up abruptly, not having the chance to help his mother, before the woman already had her foot on his mother, crouching down, and pressing the barrel against his mother's head.
"You brat, don't move." (Yuhè)
"Otherwise, I'll kill your mom first, and then kill you." (Yuhè)
Yuhè's voice was icy cold and methodical, making it clear that she was not just making threats but would follow through.
Hayamizu could only obediently stand still, not daring to advance a step.
"Kneel." (Yuhè)
Eiji Hayamizu hesitated for a moment, but seeing Yuhè's finger starting to gently pull the trigger, he gritted his teeth and knelt down.
"Hands behind your head." (Yuhè)
Hayamizu reluctantly complied.
"Very good." (Yuhè)
At this point, Yuhè relaxed slightly. She moved her foot away from Hayamizu's mother, brought over a chair to sit down, and still pointed the gun at his mother.
"Hope you've been well." (Yuhè)
Yuhè's voice was filled with mockery and sarcasm, almost overflowing.
Her current state of mind was triumphant, eager to disdain others with every breath.
"Before, I really appreciate your 'care.'" (Yuhè)
Fortunes change with time, and now Yuhè, who went from being abused and confined by Hayamizu and Chongzong, escaping and now successfully turning the tables, has now gained the upper hand over Hayamizu.
Their positions have completely reversed.
"But don't worry, I'm not here just for revenge; I have a mission." (Yuhè)
"Tell me, Sugita Chongzong, where is Kuroda Sōichirō from the Kuroda group of the Kuroda family?" (Yuhè)
Hayamizu looked bewildered.
Kuroda Group?
Kuroda Soichiro?
He knew all of that, but what did it have to do with Chongzong?
"What are you talking about? I have no idea, no impression at all." (Hayamizu)
Hayamizu was telling the truth.
But Haguro didn't see it that way.
With one hand, Haguro pulled out a dagger from the inside pocket of his jacket.
"It's not good to shoot recklessly. After all, this apartment of yours is quite high-end. If someone calls the police, it will be troublesome." (Haguro)
"But this knife is different. Stab it in, there won't be a sound." (Haguro)
Haguro held the dagger, staring at Hayamizu.
Mother, or friend.
Eiji Hayamizu faced a decision.
And there was no time to think.
The dagger in Haguro's hand slowly touched Hayamizu's mother's cheek.
"Alright, I'll talk. I really don't understand what you're talking about, but if Chongzong took Kuroda Soichiro of Kuroda Group, there's a possibility he's holding him in the baseball batting center, which is where we previously detained you." (Hayamizu)
