Chongzi did not wait long outside the entrance.

As this shop operates on a reservation and regular customer basis, it does not get crowded like regular eateries during meal times.

Chongzi waited for over ten minutes, and only an old man went in.

After a few more minutes, a group of three or four men, some muscular and some thin, all dressed in dark t-shirts and pants, walked quietly over and opened the door for themselves to go inside.

Although it was only a momentary occurrence, Chongzi clearly saw the appearance of the people entering.

—Kuroda!

Chongzi was genuinely surprised. She had thought that troublemakers like Kuroda would enter in a disorderly fashion, making a commotion as they went.

They might even tease her a little. (Hey Chongzi, what kind of plot were you expecting??)

But in reality, it was quite the opposite.

Low-key and orderly, they walked into the shop as if they were a well-trained team of marines.

It's no exaggeration to say that if Chongzi hadn't been staring at the entrance or had her attention distracted by a phone call, she might not have noticed anyone entering.

—These people might be even harder to deal with than imagined.

Chongzi heightened her guard secretly.

After Kuroda and his group went in, and a few seconds of "welcome" sounded inside, Chongzi stealthily followed.

As soon as she stepped inside, Chongzi was almost petrified.

Just as Chongzi entered, Inoue, the older sister, happened to turn her back to Chongzi, directing the customers to the private rooms.

If Chongzi had entered a second earlier, she would have bumped right into Inoue.

Still shaken, Chongzi hid in the shadows near the entrance for a few more seconds before cautiously following Kuroda and his group from a distance.

But unfortunately, the shop was just too narrow, and there was nowhere to hide. Ten seconds into entering the shop, Chongzi lost track of Kuroda.

—It's alright.

Chongzi already knew the general direction of Kuroda's group.

As long as she wasn't caught by the staff for doing anything suspicious, everything else should be fine.

The most crucial thing now was to ensure Chongzi's own concealment.

Like a ninja, Chongzi silently cracked open every private room where Kuroda and his group might have gone in to check them one by one.

Soon enough, she found Kuroda and his group in the room hanging the sign "Between Falling Cherry Blossoms."

They were ordering food, and Inoue was serving them.

This gave Chongzi a good opportunity to observe their group composition.

The core member, Kuroda Soichiro, was slender, standing at about 1.7 meters, with short hair and bright eyes. He appeared more dignified and wise than he seemed in the photos, not like some ordinary underworld boss.

In terms of age, the information matched that previously obtained by Sagisugi Yui through her hard work, around twenty years old, fitting the profile of a high school senior who had repeated a year.

Next, Kuroda's elder brother, Kuroda Guanlie, was estimated to be over 1.8 meters tall, strong enough to fill out his entire t-shirt. With thick eyebrows and dark eyes, he had a fierce expression, looking like a very aggressive person.

There were also two people unknown to Chongzi. One was tall and thin, fair-skinned, resembling an office clerk, while the other was a burly man similar to Kuroda Guanlie, possibly an officer.

None of the four individuals were visibly carrying weapons, but Chongzi suspected they might have pocket-sized weapons like folding knives on them.

The opponents' strength was unknown, and coupled with the cramped space and the prospect of fighting four people, it was easy to become ensnared in a trap.

Chongzi made a decision; she couldn't afford a direct confrontation here with too many uncertainties and risks.

She had a better strategy in mind.
