Chongzong descended the stairs, waiting for a response from Uesugi Yui.

The messy footsteps corresponded to the faint anxiety in his heart.

Chongzong had no impression of the "Hei Tian" mentioned by the man with the yellow hair.

Therefore, Chongzong could boldly infer that this "Hei Tian" had no grudge against him, but someone had found "Hei Tian" and made him target Chongzong.

The only person Chongzong could think of who would play around like a cat with a mouse before making a move was Bai Yaxin.

Instead of directly taking action, they would first amuse themselves before making their final move.

That's why all these meaningless things were done in such a big circle.

But these were all just speculations.

It could also be that Chongzong had inadvertently offended someone, leading to the events of today due to the butterfly effect.

To find answers, it all had to come down to actions.

What Chongzong was most worried about at the moment was the possibility of them planning to harm Yui.

Thinking about this, Chongzong involuntarily quickened his pace.

Fortunately, not long after, Chongzong received a message from Uesugi Yui.

- "Everything is fine, what's wrong?" (Uesugi Yui)

The moment Chongzong saw the message, he breathed a sigh of relief.

He quickly realized that he had been too impulsive in his inquiry.

Now, the clever Yui would surely realize that it was Chongzong who was in trouble and thus asked about her condition.

- "Oh, just two unruly students came to provoke, but it's been resolved." (Chongzong)

Chongzong tactfully replied to Uesugi Yui's message.

- "Resolved? How was it resolved?" (Uesugi Yui)

Sure enough, Uesugi Yui quickly grasped the point.

How should he respond?

Chongzong felt he couldn't lie here, considering they were in the same school, the same age; lying would easily be exposed, and could risk losing Yui's trust, not to mention there were many witnesses.

- "We had a little conflict but managed to resolve it peacefully." (Chongzong)

After some thought, Chongzong replied to Uesugi Yui with a mix of truth and falsehood.

- "Okay, as a newcomer, don't get into trouble, good luck (ノ>ω<)ノ" (Uesugi Yui)

Seeing Uesugi Yui's emoticons, Chongzong was momentarily stunned.

- "I didn't expect Yui to be so up-to-date with trends."

In Chongzong's imagination, Uesugi Yui should be a conservative person.

But in reality, she was actually a lovely girl at heart.

Upon returning to the classroom, the new semester's orientation had already begun.

As Chongzong entered the classroom, the homeroom teacher was having students introduce themselves one by one.

The broken desks and chairs that Chongzong used to sit at had been cleared away by someone, and new ones had been brought in.

Chongzong then sneaked around from behind and returned to his seat stealthily. It seemed both the teacher and other students had noticed Chongzong slipping in, but the teacher chose not to say anything, maintaining order in the classroom.

—Looks like this teacher is very experienced.

Downplaying the issue, even if there was a need to address it, would involve privately summoning the relevant individuals to the office for a one-on-one conversation. This way, the situation wouldn't escalate, and the students' dignity would be preserved.

As Chongzong pondered all this, he inadvertently met the teacher's gaze, and it was clear from the teacher's eyes that the message was, "You, come to my office later."
