Reborn from the dead.

This is something that only happens in film and literary works.

Up until entering the Manranyama estate, Souren Manranyama was still pondering the meaning of the words spoken by Lord Tachikawa, "Lady Tachikawa has returned."

Despite being expelled from the Manranyama family, upon returning home, the servants in the mansion still respectfully referred to Souren Manranyama as "Miss."

The old butler Yukimura had been waiting at the main gate early in the morning for the arrival of Souren Manranyama.

In addition to the deep bond between Souren Manranyama and the old butler Yukimura, Van was actually also raised by Butler Yukimura.

Having not seen each other for a long time, their eyes were filled with emotions upon meeting, but both valued their professionalism and did not start chatting in front of Souren Manranyama; they behaved as if nothing had happened.

Under the guidance of Butler Yukimura, Souren Manranyama and Van rode an electric car through the estate and into the mansion, entering the reception room.

"Miss, please wait a moment. The master may be busy with something and has not arrived yet." (Butler Yukimura)

After Souren Manranyama sat down, Butler Yukimura immediately brought out the prepared tea and snacks.

Hand-baked Ceylon tea, paired with cranberry biscuits, was one of Souren Manranyama's favorite combinations.

As Souren Manranyama savored the taste of her long-lost home, she felt a sense of nostalgia.

But she immediately chastised herself for such sentimentality.

Since she had resolutely left this comfortable greenhouse, she should not harbor nostalgia, as that would be disrespecting her own resolve.

After about three to five minutes, Souren Manranyama heard footsteps approaching from outside.

One set of heavy footsteps, like those of a middle-aged man, belonged to Uminari Manranyama.

The other set of light footsteps, like those of a young woman, sounded unfamiliar to Souren Manranyama.

Recalling the words of Butler Yukimura, a sense of indescribable foreboding crept into her heart.

As the footsteps drew nearer, Souren Manranyama felt a prickling sensation all over her body, as if sitting on pins and needles.

Then, she heard voices.

The deep male voice belonged to Uminari Manranyama.

And the melodious female voice, although unheard of by Souren Manranyama, she knew who it was.

But she refused to believe it.

It simply couldn't be.

"What's there to be nervous about? You'll see when you meet her." (Uminari Manranyama)

"But even though you say that, I've never seen her before… I don't know how she views me…" (???)

"Her opinion isn't within your control, just focus on being yourself." (Uminari Manranyama)

"But I... I'm still nervous..." (???)

The voices reached outside the door, and Manranyama Souren could already hear their conversation.

As the distance shortened, her nervousness intensified.

Manranyama Souren stood rigidly, with her back straight, feeling stiff all over. She didn't dare to turn her head towards the door, only able to look straight ahead.

In her whole life, she had never been this nervous before.

Finally, the footsteps arrived at the door.

The Yagyu butler timely opened the door to the living room.

Manranyama Souren listened to the footsteps, knowing someone had entered.

But there was only one set of footsteps.

"Hey, Naoye, you've made it here, so why are you hiding by the door? Come on in!" (Manranyama Uminari)

Upon hearing Manranyama Uminari's words, Manranyama Souren involuntarily turned her head slightly to look.

She saw the impeccably dressed Manranyama Uminari, who had already entered the living room, facing away from her towards the door, looking at "someone."

Then, "that person," despite hesitating, eventually came in.

This stranger, yet so familiar, whose figure and face Manranyama Souren had seen countless times in photos and videos.

Now, they were standing vividly in front of her.
