When Bai Yaxin's lawyer raised the possibility of evidence being forged in court and requested an inspection, Manranyama Souren felt a chill down her spine, knowing she had lost.

After calculating every possibility, she overlooked this move.

Perhaps because the process of sneaking in to steal evidence was too risky, nearly resulting in failure, Manranyama Souren firmly believed that evidence obtained with such difficulty couldn't possibly be fake.

Manranyama Souren had a suspicion that Bai Yaxin might have known about their plan of action early on.

But what she didn't anticipate was Bai Yaxin's audacity in arranging so many security personnel to keep them busy all night.

-- Or perhaps, he intended to cause some chaos and harm.

Considering this worst-case scenario, it perfectly aligned with Bai Yaxin's modus operandi.

Bai Yaxin was not one to settle for defense only.

Subsequently, with the statement from Bai Yaxin's defense lawyer, the problematic nature of the evidence was confirmed and approved by the judge.

From then on, the situation took a drastic turn, completely shifting to Bai Yaxin's defense lawyer leading the trial process.

In court, Manranyama Souren was helpless, struck by this undermining blow, losing her footing entirely, left at the mercy of others.

Meanwhile, Chongzong and Van, in the audience, felt disoriented, at a loss, unable to do anything but exchange glances.

Everyone was thinking, "What to do?".

But no one had a solution.

Bai Yaxin was too prepared, everything was going according to his plan.

They had believed in their supposed success, struggles, and eventual victory, all firmly in Bai Yaxin's grasp.

Defeat was as overwhelming as an avalanche.

Thirty minutes into the trial, the judge's gavel struck, declaring the plaintiff's case dismissed.

Yet, Manranyama Souren and her team did not have time to despond, as losing the case was not the worst outcome for them.

With Bai Yaxin's probing question, "Fabricating evidence to sue others, isn't that illegal?", the situation reversed.

Bai Yaxin pointed at Manranyama Souren and declared, "Now that you've sued me, it's my turn to sue you, former 'Miss'."

As his words fell, silence reigned in the courtroom.

They had been outmaneuvered.

Completely and thoroughly outmaneuvered.

Thinking everything was going according to plan.

When in reality, they were being played right into someone else's hands.

Manranyama Souren, Van, Chongzong, and Uesugi Yui were filled with a mix of anger, resentment, and regret, but they could only watch Bai Yaxin's smug face, unable to utter a word.

Fortunately, the charge of falsifying evidence wasn't settled in court; it would proceed through a different process after leaving the courtroom.

Following their departure, Bai Yaxin and his entourage departed gracefully, with light steps.

Manranyama Souren, Chongzong, and their group could only move their feet with difficulty.

The carefully planned scheme was completely overturned out of nowhere.

Next, we have to brace for Bai Yaxin's counterattack.

No wonder Bai Yaxin had been silent for the past period of time.

It turns out he was in a winning position, waiting leisurely without the need to rush into anything.

"What should we do." (Yui Uesugi)

Outside the courtroom, the four of them stood facing each other, looking at each other in silence.

To put it bluntly, despite being relatively mature for their age, they were still just four kids.

In the current situation, being able to hold it together without breaking down and maintaining the ability to think was already commendable.

"It's not time to give up yet. We're all still okay, and we still have a chance." (Chongzong)

Chongzong squeezed out these words from between his teeth to comfort everyone, though inside he felt like a defeated man.

"Lord Uesugi is right. Even if Bai Yaxin sues us, the perjury in this case isn't serious, at most we'll just get fined a little, nothing major." (Manranyama Souren)

Following Chongzong's words, Manranyama Souren perked up slightly.

"Well, if there's nothing else today, let's all go back and rest, and then we can set a time to meet and discuss further." (Chongzong)

Everyone nodded silently in agreement, and after a moment of wordless silence, they dispersed on the spot.
