After lying on the ground and resting for a while, Chongzong finally recovered. Although he was concerned about his physical condition, Chongzong decided to first consider the shortcomings of the plan. If he couldn't get a motorcycle, there was still a way. Chongzong gave up his stubbornness and came up with a new idea. Instead of a motorcycle, he could use a bicycle. In the narrow alley, there wasn't much difference between a bicycle and a motorcycle. However, the difficulty in obtaining them was like night and day. Therefore, Chongzong decided to go with the bicycle. The difficulty was significantly reduced, so Chongzong took the opportunity to ask some of his male classmates who were more approachable and borrowed a bicycle from them. With that settled, he was left with the matter of finding combat weapons.

Due to his realization of hidden dangers in his body, Chongzong was no longer as confident as before. "If only I had a stun baton or something," he thought. Chongzong needed a weapon that could disable an enemy with just one strike. For those who loved martial arts, it would be shameful to seek such a weapon. It was like a martial artist resorting to using a gun to defeat an enemy. But Chongzong didn't consider himself a martial arts enthusiast. To him, learning martial arts was something that the bald dean had forced him into. It turned out to be useful after coming to Japan, but now he just wanted to carefully consider his action plan and prepare as best as possible with equipment, tools, and weapons to handle any situation.

It was most important to successfully resolve this matter, expose Bai Yaxin's true colors, and not cause any trouble for the Uesugi family or anyone else. The calamity that he had inadvertently brought to the Uesugi family before was already enough. The next morning, Chongzong, whose condition had improved, took Yuki to Mizuo's house. Every month, Chongzong would bring Yuki to visit Mizuo's house to see what daily necessities needed replenishing and to check on the household situation. After all, it was a worry to have a primary school student living alone, regardless of how mature and independent Mizuo was. Yuki, who was usually well-behaved and quiet, became lively because she could see Mizuo. She skipped and jumped back and forth in front and behind Chongzong on the way. If it was Mizuo behaving like this, Chongzong would certainly stop her. But with Yuki, he let her be, without any restrictions. Chongzong believed that quiet children like her needed occasions like this to relax. The two of them arrived at the apartment building where Mizuo lived, stepping on the creaking floorboards of the old building. The sound was like a joyful violin welcoming them home. "Ding dong!" Yuki jumped up and pressed the doorbell of Mizuo's house. Immediately, they heard... "I'm coming, I'm coming!" The voice arrived before the person did. As the sound of bare feet running on the wooden floor gradually approached, Chongzong could already guess that Mizuo had arrived at the door. But unlike other children, her voice stopped when it reached this point.

There was no typical scenario as expected where the door would immediately open with a "clang", instead it remained silent for several seconds.

Then, the door slowly opened a crack, revealing the safety iron chain still hanging on the latch. If one were to forcefully pull the door open at this moment, it would not budge.

Through that crack, Mizuo's little head poked out.

"Yuki-chan, Chongzong-ge!"

After confirming it was the two of them, Mizuo first closed the door with a "snap", unfastened the chain, and then with another "snap", opened the door wide and eagerly embraced Yuki, barefoot.

Watching these two adorable little angels hugging each other (although Mizuo was mostly a little devil), rubbing their chubby cheeks against each other, Chongzong wished time could freeze at this moment forever.
