To protect Yuki, Chongzong didn't let her enter the room. Instead, he left the door slightly ajar so that Yuki could clearly hear the conversation inside. Yuki sat by the door, holding a notebook and pen, listening attentively to the conversation inside.

Chongzong's instructions to Yuki were to focus on the words spoken by a woman in the room and record whether each statement was true or false. The determination of their veracity was entirely left to Yuki's intuition, the so-called woman's sixth sense. It sounded quite mystical, lacking any basis and was completely unscientific. But Chongzong wanted to gamble on it.

His life experience had always told him that trusting Yuki was more reliable than racking his own brain to make judgments. After all, he had failed before. Upon entering the room, Chongzong could see that it was not much different from his previous visit before the exam. The only difference was the woman's complexion, which seemed to have improved a bit. She appeared to have adapted to her imprisoned life.

When Chongzong and Hayami entered, the woman was awake. She wasn't sitting on a chair but was squatting next to it, hugging her knees. Her neck and feet were chained to the chair. Chongzong wanted to ask Hayami if this was okay, if she wouldn't make any noise to attract attention. But with the woman present, he couldn't ask aloud.

Hayami seemed to understand Chongzong's thoughts and just confidently shook his head, as if saying, "It's alright." The woman didn't pay attention to Chongzong and Hayami entering. She just buried her head in her legs.

"Hey, get up, I have questions for you," Hayami said, walking over and giving her a kick on her buttocks. The force wasn't heavy, but it wasn't light either. Chongzong watched from the side, wanting to intervene but held himself back.

After being kicked by Hayami, the woman slightly lifted her head and looked at him, freezing at this movement. "Can you answer questions?" Hayami raised his voice, partly so that Yuki outside the door could hear and partly to exert pressure on the woman.

The woman nodded silently, her gaze flickering. "Can you speak?" Hayami continued.

"Um," the woman replied in a low voice.

Without hesitation, Hayami walked up and kicked her again, this time with more force. The woman couldn't help but let out a faint moan.

"Louder," Hayami commanded.

"Yes," the woman's voice became noticeably louder. Yuki outside the door could also hear it clearly.

Hayami turned to Chongzong and nodded, indicating that they could start questioning. However, Chongzong felt somewhat dazed. He clenched his fists, palms sweating, and felt confused about what exactly he was doing. But he forced himself to recall the woman's failed assassination attempt on Mizuo, and suddenly he became much calmer.

Human forgetfulness is truly terrifying. Even a recent event can be completely forgotten, with all the pain associated with it.

Because the woman in front of him had suffered a little harm, the hypocritical kindness in his heart began to stir.

Chongzong walked up to the woman and handed her the glass of water he was holding.

"Drink this, then sit in the chair. I have some questions for you."

The woman looked at Chongzong blankly for a moment, then seemed to remember that she had seen him before.

She silently climbed onto the chair and drank the water.

During this time, Chongzong took Sushui out of the room and made a gesture to Yuki to wait.

In the corner, Chongzong and Sushui discussed the interrogation plan.

"If the other party is not afraid of pain or death, it doesn't matter. Everyone has weaknesses. Even if they don't care about themselves, they may have a wife, children, or parents; there will always be something they can't let go of."

"Temptation is simple, just appeal to their interests."

"That's what I meant earlier. As for how to do it, it's up to your judgment. After all, your sister is also here. You have to be tactful."

Sushui spoke these terrifying words calmly, even indifferently, just like when he kicked that woman earlier.

"Well, I will ask according to this plan. You have a lot of experience, so let's work together."

Chongzong didn't comment on Sushui's change of attitude. The interrogation was the most important thing right now.

The two returned to the room, and the woman was already seated. To Chongzong's surprise, she had drunk more than half the bottle of water. It seemed that she was indeed thirsty.

"I will begin questioning now, and you need to answer loudly."

Chongzong's gaze became cold.

"Your driver's license says your name is Ayaki Yuriko. Is that true or false?"

And so the interrogation began.
