The woman lifted her head and looked at Chongzong coldly, without saying a word.

Her already haggard body had lost the little warmth it had left from the cold water poured on her, and she began to shiver.

"It was you who caused the power outage at the hospital, resulting in Koga Muriyuki's death, right?"

Chongzong ignored the trembling woman and began his interrogation.

However, the woman, as if she hadn't heard Chongzong's words, just lowered her head and continued to tremble.

"You are associated with the man who attacked Koga and the others with a truck, right?"

"And Bai Yaxin is the mastermind behind all of you, isn't she?"

Chongzong's consecutive questions disappeared into thin air without getting any response from the woman.

It seemed that no matter what was said, it couldn't penetrate her ears.

Chongzong deduced that under these extreme conditions, the woman wasn't pretending to be calm and unresponsive, but rather broken.

To some extent, this woman who had already been "tamed" by Eiji Hayamizu couldn't accept the appearance of a new manager, "Chongzong."

- It seems that I still need Sumi's assistance. Let's leave it here for today.

Chongzong left the room, but after a few steps, he turned back to help the woman dry herself off, poured her a cup of warm water to drink slowly, and then locked the door and left.

- It's still early, let's go to Sumi's house.

Chongzong had been to Sumi's house before, but later, Sumi moved.

Chongzong had never been to Eiji Hayamizu's new house, but he vaguely remembered the address of the residence, which Eiji Hayamizu had mentioned before.

Based on his faint memory, Chongzong arrived at an upscale residential area, and the address of Sumi's house was a very luxurious high-rise apartment building.

Chongzong estimated that it was more than 30 floors high, which was rare in earthquake-prone Japan. The glass exterior was shining under the lights, and even just looking at the lobby on the first floor from a distance was dazzling.

- Tsk tsk, I didn't expect Sumi's family to be so wealthy.

Chongzong stood at the entrance, looking at the spirited security guard in the lobby and the person in the impeccable suit who seemed to be the butler, feeling that it wouldn't be as easy as the fake address on the driver's license to sneak in.

So, Chongzong called Eiji Hayamizu.

"Sumi, I'm outside your house."

"Huh? My, my house downstairs?"

On the other end of the phone, there was the panicked voice of Sumi, with a breathlessness, and occasionally the sound of things being knocked over.

"Yeah, downstairs at your place, the Kenshin Kamakura Luxury Apartments in the Kyoto Shimogyo area, right?"

As Chongzong speculated in his mind about what Sumi was doing, he looked around at the surroundings.

"Ah, yeah, why, do you need something from me?"

"Yeah, let's talk about what I asked you to do earlier. Is it not convenient for you to come up now?"

Chongzong knowingly asked, although he couldn't guess the exact situation, he was certain that Sumi wasn't up to anything good. He was well aware of that.

"No no no, how about this, I'll come find you. Wait for me for five minutes, I'll be right there!" Suzumiya said, forcefully hanging up the phone. Chongzong didn't question it and waited for Suzumiya while thinking about things.

About ten minutes later, Suzumiya finally came out from the lobby, walking hurriedly towards Chongzong.

"Why didn't you give me a call earlier, just show up like this," Chongzong complained.

"I didn't expect your schedule to be so full, classmate Suzumiya," Chongzong said with a smirk, catching a whiff of a female perfume scent on Suzumiya.

Suzumiya understood the meaning behind Chongzong's smile and smiled back proudly.

"Let's go somewhere else to chat, there are a few nice cha houses upstairs," Suzumiya suggested.

"Okay, let's go."

As they walked, Chongzong pondered on what a "cha house" referred to in this context, probably something similar to tea houses in China.

Fifteen minutes later, Eiji Hayamizu shattered Chongzong's worldview.
