After school the next day, Chongzong planned to investigate Ayaki Yuriko's identity, but he was stopped by Eiji Hayamizu as he was about to leave the classroom.

"What about the study session we agreed on?"

Eiji Hayamizu had a face of blame, mixed with a slight sense of satisfaction that he had caught Chongzong.

"Of course, ensuring your smooth entrance into university is my current most important mission, without a doubt."

Already anticipating this, Chongzong calmly responded to Eiji Hayamizu.

He was as confident and suave as a shepherd leading his flock, leading Eiji Hayamizu to the library.

Then, Chongzong took out a set of exercise books from his backpack and placed them on Eiji Hayamizu's desk.

"You have two hours to complete this set of exercises. You can do them independently, search for the answers online, or ask someone else for help. Finish the exercises within these two hours, and see if my training has helped you in this short amount of time."

Eiji Hayamizu, who had initially felt some resentment, suddenly became submissive when he saw that Chongzong had already arranged everything for him.

"I didn't expect you to consider so much for me..."

Eiji Hayamizu pretended to wipe his eyes, but there were no tears.

Chongzong patted him on the shoulder, encouraging him to work hard, and then left the library.

The deadline was two hours to investigate Ayaki Yuriko's name and address and confirm her true identity. But as the destination drew closer, an inexplicable uneasiness hidden in Chongzong's heart gradually grew, lingering in his mind.

Higashiyama District, Kawahara cho, Kyoto, 459.

Following the river, entering a residential area, and finally finding Kawahara cho 400. It was a not-so-new, but not yet dilapidated apartment building with twelve floors in total.

—So, it should be apartment 9 on the 5th floor.

Chongzong entered the apartment building, but was immediately stopped by the security guard in the monitoring room.

"Young man, I've never seen you before. Are you here to visit a classmate?"

An unexpected turn of events; Chongzong quickly thought it through.

—In a situation like this, it's better to be honest.

"Uh, no, I'm actually looking for a family surnamed Aruhara who lives here. The address is 459 Kawahara cho, Higashiyama District."

"Hmm? That address is indeed correct, but Aruhara... there is no such family here."

With the security guard's furrowed brow, Chongzong's ominous premonition was confirmed.

It wouldn't be that easy.

So, is the name and address both fake, or is it possible that one of them is real?

It had only been half an hour since leaving school, and Chongzong felt it was too early to give up.

Since the security guard saw him as a child (which he actually was), Chongzong decided to take advantage of that and see if he could obtain more information.

"But the address is definitely correct... So, can you tell me what kind of family lives at this address?"

"Just an ordinary family of three... Wait, why are you asking about this?"

The security guard accidentally let slip, but quickly stopped himself, looking at Chongzong suspiciously.

But just hearing those words was enough for Chongzong, as for how to wrap things up, he had already planned it out.

"Well, you see, I found this driver's license nearby, and it has this address written on it. I was thinking of returning it to the owner."

Chongzong presented Ayaki Yuriko's driver's license, which indeed had the name and address recorded on it. This way, Chongzong's actions just now also had a reasonable explanation.

"That is indeed strange, young man. It would be better for you to hand this over to the police station, don't you think?"

"Yes! That's what I was thinking too. Thank you, sir!"

Obviously, Chongzong had no intention of actually taking the driver's license to the police station. This was just part of the plan he had thought out in advance.

On the way back to school, Chongzong repeatedly pondered over the security guard's slip of the tongue.

- An ordinary family of three.
