He hadn't expected that Sudou would treat this captive in such a way.

"How...did it come to this?"

Chongzong couldn't help but ask Sudou, not feeling angry but rather bewildered.

"Hmm? Do you expect me to provide her with good food and clothing as well?" Sudou retorted, looking incredulous at Chongzong's reaction.

"When you asked me to confine this woman for you, you repeatedly warned me that she was 'dangerous with intentions to murder elementary school students' and that we must be cautious. It's only been a month and you've forgotten already?"

Chongzong had not forgotten; he remembered clearly.

The fault did not lie with Sudou, but with Chongzong himself.

It was only now that Chongzong realized that he had underestimated Eiji Hayamizu.

"I haven't forgotten...I'm just a little surprised. When I asked you earlier, you sounded so relaxed, and I thought you got along well with her."

His forced words couldn't make up for his earlier outburst. Chongzong walked awkwardly over to the woman's side and found that she was still unconscious and unaffected by their intrusion.

"Sudou, does the old man outside know that you are keeping a woman here?"

Chongzong stepped back to the door, standing shoulder to shoulder with Sudou.

Sudou smirked cunningly.

"He doesn't know. I used a suitcase to hide her at that time."

With that, Sudou took out his phone and took a picture of the corner of the room. Chongzong then noticed a shabby suitcase lying in the shadowy corner.

"There happened to be an old suitcase at home that had been abandoned for a long time. I asked my mother for it. Seamless, right? Hmph~~ Hmph~ Hmph~"

—Though it couldn't be said to be flawless, Sudou had indeed done a good job, surpassing Chongzong's expectations.

"It was the right decision to entrust this to you."

Chongzong patted Sudou's shoulder with force, then pulled him out of the room and closed the door again. Chongzong didn't want to wake the woman up with their voices, at least not for now.

"Before directly communicating with her, I want to understand the situation first. What have you done to her these past few days? The more detailed, the better."

"What have I done...let me think."

Sudou scratched his head and started describing what had happened between him and the woman during this time.

"At the beginning, you had me go to someone's house, ah, Koga?"

"Yes, Koga."

Chongzong intentionally corrected Sudou's mistake in the surname, as he didn't want Sudou to remember the connection between the Koga family and this matter.

"At Koga's house, I took over this woman from you. While my parents were away, I took a taxi and brought her home, then stuffed her into a suitcase and locked her in this room."

"If it was just for a half day or a day, you could have taken her away, and I wouldn't have cared. But you told me that you didn't know when to release her; that's what made it difficult for me."

Sudou paused for a moment, glanced at Chongzong with a resentful look, before changing the subject.

"Fortunately, I am Eiji Hayamizu, who is knowledgeable about women, so I wasn't baffled. Hahaha."

Sudou laughed proudly, and Chongzong felt like he needed to find a chair to sit down and listen. The following conversation might become lengthy, and at this point, Chongzong couldn't bring himself to ask Sudou to be more concise, as he had requested Sudou to "explain in as much detail as possible."

"Since she was going to be detained for a long time, eating became a serious problem. Three meals a day, not eating would lead to death. How to make this woman eat has been bothering me for a while."
