After a twenty-minute drive, Araki Yukin arrived near the Koga residence.

Then, she encountered a multiple-choice question.

Araki Yukin was a meticulous thinker.

The advantage was that she rarely made basic errors.

The disadvantage was that she often overthought things, and her cleverness worked against her.

Now, she was in the car, pondering where to park.

If she parked the car directly under the residential building where the Koga family lived, it would indeed be convenient and fast, but it would also expose her. If the situation went wrong and she needed to retreat, this blatantly parked car would be cut off and could not be used as a means of escape.

On the other hand, if she parked a little further away, the concealment would naturally be better, but with her weak combat ability, it would be unlikely for her to return to the parking spot if she encountered enemy interception.

To put it bluntly, Araki Yukin's fighting strength was only enough to bully children.

Her main job was a sentry and clerk; she was not responsible for combat.

Therefore, for this non-job-related assassination mission, Araki Yukin's priority was not how to complete the objective but how to escape unharmed.

Where should she park the car?

Araki Yukin simply drove around the surrounding area and finally parked the car in a relatively secluded alley that wasn't too far away.

After parking the car, she put on gloves, tied up her hair, put on a bucket hat, and then wore a pair of glasses with no lenses. With a fruit knife and lock-picking tools in hand, she quickly walked towards the residential building of the Koga family.

She didn't see anyone along the way, and there was no obstruction. She climbed the stairs and arrived at the floor where the Koga family lived, walking up to the door of their apartment.

The door was not closed and was slightly ajar.

This surprised Araki Yukin.

She instinctively looked around, but there was no one around.

An open door meant many possibilities, but considering that the longer she dragged it out, the greater the risk, Araki Yukin decided to act swiftly.

Be cautious and careful.

With a fruit knife in one hand, she pushed the door open with the other.

Koga Mizuo appeared before her like this, burying her head, sitting in the entrance, and not noticing her arrival.

-- Should I make a move?

Araki Yukin hesitated.

She had killed before.

But it was all indirect; she didn't do it personally.

Now, she was going to take a knife and use her own hands to kill a little girl.

-- Thinking too much is pointless.

Although she hesitated, Araki Yukin didn't hesitate for too long and quickly dispelled her doubts.

The target was the back of Koga Mizuo's neck when it was exposed. By plunging the knife in, it would quickly be over.

Araki Yukin thought like this, gripping the handle of the knife tightly, and stabbed towards Koga Mizuo...!

However, she was unable to stab.

Her hand stopped in mid-air.

More accurately, someone had stopped her.

At some point, a young boy had appeared behind her.

Before Araki Yukin could turn her head to look, she lost consciousness in a sudden burst of pain and fainted.

Araki Yukin, who had fainted, was casually pushed aside by the boy who stopped and knocked her out. He rushed to Mizuo's side and knelt down on one knee, shaking her shoulders with both hands.

"Mizuo! What's wrong with you!"

Koga Mizuo did not respond to the boy's call. Due to extreme physical and mental fatigue, she had fallen into a dangerous state of unconsciousness.

Realizing this, the young boy sighed and said, "I apologize for the disturbance." He then took off his shoes and entered the house, dismantling the clothesline from the balcony. Using it, he bound the unfamiliar female murderer and gagged her with several pieces of cloth. He then carried Mizuo horizontally, took her out the door, went downstairs, and hurried to the nearby hospital.
