The weather in Hokkaido has four distinct seasons, and this is the time of year when the most precipitation occurs.
At night, it was raining, and the cold wind blew, so the pedestrians couldn't help but speed up their pace, wrap up their clothes and hurry home.
When Hayakawa Kyouko got off the subway, she took up her umbrella and walked home. After passing by the store, she bought a box of instant curry and a few cans of beer as usual.
Because of the pressure of work, many colleagues always meet in groups at pubs after work, drinking and bad-mouthing their bosses, but Kyouko prefers to be alone in a quiet environment. It is not that she is a loner, but she is not used to going in and out of public places at night.
Even though the city is well policed and there are plenty of places even for women to go alone, she prefers to stay on the couch and play with her phone.
It's the first day of the year, and she has to go back to her parents to say hello and visit her relatives, and the thought of it makes her worry a lot more. She is not attractive and does not have a boyfriend, facing the marriage problems of her parents and relatives always very awkward.
She worries that when she returns home, there will be a strange man sitting on the living room sofa, laughing with her father. Her mother took her hand and pointed to the man and said, "Kyouko, this is your future husband."
The skin tingled, with that mother's character this kind of thing is definitely done!
Find a time to call your parents, even if it's cheating, find a way to stabilize them first ......
"Meow ......"
While thinking about it. Kyouko heard a faint purring sound, which seemed to be made by a kitten.
Why would there be a cat outside on this rainy day?
She was a little curious and followed the sound to the street corner.
The first thing that happened was that there was a box in an inconspicuous corner of the fence, and the four sides of the box were open to the outside, and the rainwater was pouring in freely.
The sound came from the box.
She went over to take a look and was astonished.
What surprised her was not the kitten in the box that was drenched in rainwater, nor the way the cat was shivering from the cold, but its unusually proportioned head.
The cat's head took up nearly a third of its body, yet it looked like it had been born some time ago, and its dark brown fur had grown in.
The cat's head looks like a normal cat's head has been enlarged two times, which is a strong sense of weirdness to others.
The cat tilted its head and opened its eyes wide, looking at her pitifully. It was too stiff to move, too weak to stand up.
Perhaps because of its congenital deformity, the cat had been mercilessly abandoned by its owner. The night was cold and the wind and rain would rob the cat of what little heat it had left to squint. If no one takes it in, it will probably be a corpse tomorrow.
Kyouko couldn't help but feel a twinge of sympathy, and after a moment's hesitation, she took the box in one hand and brought it home.
She decided to adopt it.
When she arrived home, the first thing Kyouko did was to bathe the cat and then give it a small portion of the cooked curry.
Having never had a small animal, she wasn't sure what the cat liked to eat, but she was happy to see the way the kitten was eating.
From then on, Kyouko had a new guest in her house, and although it looked a little strange at first glance, she felt comfortable with it after spending some time with him. There was something really different about this cat. Whenever she looked at it, Kyouko could feel its emotions - gratitude and dependence - and the depths of its pupils held infinite beauty.
Gradually, Kyouko got used to the cat's big head, and sometimes even found it a bit cute.
She gives cat's name as a common name: momo.
It is true that having a cat can change a person, and at least Kyouko did not cry again in her life afterwards, whether she was criticized by her boss or fail in her job. Because momo would comfort her and listen to her troubles, momo was a friend of her heart.
Just like that, a month passed.
It was a sunny morning, and Kyouko went to work, and in her hurry to leave, she forgot to turn off her laptop.
And as the weather turned colder, the temperature in the house dropped. Attracted by the warmth, momo leapt onto the table and squinted comfortably on the computer.
I don't know how long it took, but it was woken up by a slight sound coming from inside the laptop.
Clumsily twisting its head, it looked blankly at the screen, which seemed to have just opened a web page, brightly lit, but momo couldn't read the contents, all it knew was that its owner liked to sit in front of the screen, tapping the keyboard on it, making a "crackling" sound.
With this in mind, momo mimicked its master and sat in front of the screen, reaching out his little paw and rapping
Halfway through, it got a little sleepy again, so he chose to follow its body's desire and went back to sleep.
While sleeping, momo unintentionally pressed the last enter key on the laptop, and then the web page above jumped a bit and a line appeared.
---[Under investigation]
If someone could see the whole process just now, I think he would be amazed.
Just now, just as the cat was sleeping, a strange web page popped up on the computer, after which the cat squinted and tapped the keyboard haphazardly, yet it was such an irregular tapping that coincidentally and coincidentally formed a logical string of words on it.
If you flip a coin a thousand times, the number of times it comes up heads is only about 500.
If you flip a coin an infinite number of times, the number of times it comes up face up is infinite.
If an infinite number of monkeys were to type randomly on an infinite number of typewriters for an infinite amount of time, then at some point they would necessarily type all of Shakespeare's writings - the famous infinite monkey theory, where the infinite itself represents a possibility.
But it took momo just once to knock out a chapter of a 3,000+ word novel and pitch it!
Even more coincidentally, it typed a sentence at the bottom of the section labeled "setting bar" -
[Want to become human.]
Perhaps Momo's fate has changed from the moment she was picked up by Kyouko. Although it is much smarter than the average cat, it has never thought about these kinds of questions: what would happen if it became human?

After work, Kyouko bought some cat food at a pet store recommended by a colleague and a small balls of string - cats like playing with this.
When she thought of momo, she was a bit impatient, and she was a bit worried, wondering if momo liked curry or cat food. She was a little worried that momo doesn’t like the cat food.
When she finally arrived at the door, she took out the key and opened the door as usual.
"I'm home!"
"Master, you're finally back meow~"
"Well, today I brought back ...... wahhhhhhhh, who are you!!!" Kyouko was so shocked that she leaned against the door and the plastic bag with the cat food fell to the floor.
The naked cat-eared girl sat at the entrance, blinking her cat pupils and staring at her dumbly, her dark brown tail wagging gently, the cat-eared girl's head was much larger than normal, but strangely, there was nothing out of place, but rather some cute-version of it.
After hearing Kyouko's startled voice, the cat-eared girl tilted her big head, "Master, I am momo ah, somehow, I woke up like this meow ......"
" ......"
"Master ......?"
"Ah, oh ......"
Kyouko felt her head getting as big as momo's:
Geez, what the hell is this unfolding!
