Chapter 5

The Magic Academy actually has an air temperature regulation machine, which is a machine that would not exist in this Western magical world in various senses, but it seems necessary in this academy.

Because the School of Balancing selects high-end talents from around the world, there are basically a few representatives from each race, regardless of size. It is unrealistic to create a place where both the Northern werewolves and the Southern Water Nymphs feel comfortable, because the upper and lower limits of their comfortable living conditions are not in the same service area.

The environmental mediation machine was born for this reason. It automatically distributes moisture, heat, and even oxygen concentration according to the race. However, it has substantial differences in operation and essence compared to air conditioning.

This thing runs on magical energy, not electricity.

Ahem, I didn't introduce this instrument at this point to demonstrate the rigor of this academy and prove its theoretical feasibility, but rather to leave a memory or a last testament for it-

Essentially, it is still like an air conditioner, not a riot gear, but a precision instrument.

However, it is now held above Emile's head, which is a world-class crisis that cannot be resisted even with hundreds of riot gears combined.

"Why isn't it working!? What happened to the regulation!?"

Oh, by the way, we are now in Damia's office because it is said that this instrument has the function of "allowing everything to grow in the most suitable environment," and Damia's office is obviously the most advanced, so we are here.

"Well... Although I don't know much about this thing, overall, its purpose is to allow a 'living being' to grow in the most suitable environment, right?"

Although I feel sorry for Emile's thought process, I can't imagine blowing this thing against her forehead and expecting it to accelerate hair growth...

"This situation is not right! In every sense, it's wrong! I am Emile! The Emile who is invincible and impervious to any weapon!"

Ah, admitted, this guy who jumps off a tree and lies on someone's back claiming to have sprained her foot has admitted that she is not invincible. And theoretically, she is still a magician.

Just as I made up my mind to correct her distorted worldview and values, a rift tore through the space behind Damia's desk, and the pitch-black area clashed with the surrounding environment.

A hand rested on the edge of the rift, and then forcefully "pulled" itself out from there.

Hmm, it feels like she "pulled" herself out.

Damia emerged from the rift in space, then patted her clothes to scatter the black substance on her body into the void.

"Cough... Cough cough... Damn, I got stronger again... Next time, I won't go easy on you, bear..."

And then we looked at each other while we were dismantling the air conditioner.

"..."

"..."

A flash of white light suddenly appeared before us, and the rift in space and whatever else immediately returned to its original state. Damia also instantly tidied up her clothes, emitting a calm and elegant aura.

"Oh, Molly Ann, Emile-chan, I heard you just blew up a playground? Well done, well done, very impressive..."

I hesitated, searching for the right words to say-

"Um... Did you just say you were going to teach someone a lesson... a bear?"

"The Universe Invincible Thunderous Lightning One-Eyed Rampaging Lightning Demon Bear."

"...Did you say lightning twice?"

"Lightning Lightning Bear."

"...You said it twice again."

"I just defeated a demon bear and saved the world."

"You skipped the long rhetoric and even the bear disappeared."

"I saved the world, in the truest sense."

I opened my mouth to say something, but Emile rushed to Damia with the air conditioner before I could continue, interrupting our meaningless conversation-

"Damia, my hair."

She pointed to the side of her head.

And Damia blinked, tactically leaned back in her chair, and fell into silence-

-Damn, so that statement was true?

-Baldness really makes you stronger.
