“Dig down... but the problem is we don't have any digging tools, right?” Turner chuckled when he heard my words.

“Sometimes you don't need tools to dig a hole.”

I selected a skill from the skill bar and directly used it on the floor.

“Ultimate·Earth Shaping.”

This skill was similar to ice shaping magic, it could change the shape of the material of the corresponding element according to the user's requirements. However, while ice shaping magic changed the shape of the summoned ice, earth magic changed the shape of the earth directly around the user.

Of course, it was only a change in shape, not in structure. I wasn't some kind of headless chicken.

When my hand touched the ground, the earthy floor immediately sank downwards, turning into a deep pit in an instant. Everyone silently took a step back, as I made the pit as deep as possible, almost around 100 meters.

At first glance, the pit appeared dark and seemingly bottomless. I also constructed a spiral staircase around the pit for easy descent.

Since I could only descend 100 meters at a time, if we wanted to dig further, we had to go down and continue.

I also dropped a light ball down to illuminate the bottom.

“A sinkhole...” Ms. Mary glanced and remarked.

“This is an artificially created natural landscape, you know?”

“I don't get it.”

“So, you’re actually an earth mage?” Nate asked.

“Judging from your clothes, I thought you were an ice mage.”

“Oh, I am.”

“Huh...?”

The surprise was evident on Nate's face.

“You're actually studying both elements?”

“Well, sort of.”

“You are quite a peculiar fellow. I have never heard of someone simultaneously studying ice and earth... wait, did I just see you using light magic? What are you…”

“You have plenty of your own secrets, right? Let's not worry about the details.”

“Haha, fair point.”

Nate chuckled, then went to examine the deep pit.

“Young one.”

Suddenly, Mr. Gongxi spoke up.

He had been silent since earlier, not saying a word even when we were outside. Could he be a cultivator? Or had he already reached the stage of body purification by eliminating three corpses? Indifference or firmness without desires?

Well, it doesn't matter. Let's just hear what he has to say.

“What do you suggest, sir?”

“This hole cannot be solved by ordinary means.”

He pointed at the hole.

“This hole has life in it. It cannot be solved by conventional methods. Reckless actions will only add danger.”

“Why do you say that?”

Suddenly, I felt like I was reviewing classical Chinese literature, but if this seemingly formidable individual could help, what harm was there in a brief review?

“Look, this hole is regenerating.”

I frowned, walked to the edge of the hole, and suddenly broke out in a cold sweat.

The newly created deep pit was slowly beginning to restore itself, burying the light ball that was already at the bottom with earth.

Good Lord, if we had just gone in earlier, wouldn't we have been buried alive?

“Why is this happening...”

“You seem to not be repulsed by the Eastern Continent, young one. You are indeed unique.”

He gazed towards the sea.

"I thought you were just greeting them because they were acquaintances, but it seems you are indeed extraordinary," he said, glancing at us. "This place is not ordinary, it is not a simple treasure trove. Instead of calling it a treasure trove, it is more accurate to say that this is an extraordinary tomb."

"We already know it's a tomb, what's so extraordinary about it?" The island seemed displeased by his casual mention earlier.

"Because this is not a human tomb," Mr. Gongxi smiled. "It is a dragon tomb."

"A dragon tomb…" I was stunned, suddenly everything became clear to me. "So it's a dragon tomb, that's why the dragon came here, and precisely because of that, the dragon never came out again!"

"Yes, they only came to find their own resting place," Mr. Gongxi chuckled. "And I, just came to see if there are dragon balls after the dragons in the Western Continent died."

"We just came to see what treasures the dragon brought, but... why is it like this?" I pointed around. "Is this the dragon tomb?"

"No, it seems you don't have a clear record of the events on your continent. This is the earliest dragon, the ancestral dragon, who turned itself into a millennium dragon tomb before its death. Yes, at this moment, we are inside the dragon's body."
