"What kind of place is this..."

As Ascat muttered to himself, he continued to move forward, gazing at the dilapidated cave.

"Hmm?"

However, not long after he started walking, the entire cave began to tremble!

"An earthquake? At a time like this? Goodness!"

Ascat immediately turned around and started to dash back the way he came, racing out of the cave as fast as he could.

But the cave beside him had already begun to collapse, with cracks appearing on the walls that were previously impenetrable. Ascat felt overwhelmed at the situation - the adventure had not even started and he was already facing a landslide. Could anyone survive this?

At least, he thought, he should put on some armor for protection.

With that in mind, Ascat had a thought, and the armor from his ring flew out and quickly fitted itself onto him.

Just as he put on the armor, he heard a strange sound behind him. Turning around, he saw three figures rushing past him like a whirlwind, with one of them turning back after a second.

"Eh? Isn't this Ascat? What are you doing here?"

Ascat was stunned to see his teacher, Bai Yueguang, standing in front of him.

"Teacher... you..."

"Ah, now is not the time to chat. Let's run." Bai Yueguang swiftly pasted a talisman onto Ascat and pulled him along to flee.

"Oh, I see. So you are Bai Yueguang's student," remarked Hei Luoli, who recognized Ascat as someone learning from Bai Yueguang.

"If Ascat is here... does that mean the mission has already started?"

"It's been a day since it started."

Empowered by the talisman, Ascat noticed his speed had increased, managing to keep up with their pace.

"But since you guys were missing, we had no choice but to proceed on our own. Our homeroom teacher is all theory, no combat skills..."

"I know, that guy..."

Bai Yueguang shook his head before continuing, "So why are you alone here? Where are the others?"

"I managed to defeat some and some didn’t show up."

Bai Yueguang's face twitched for a moment, before saying, "I understand. Well, we could use someone like Fir to fix this."

"Fir? You mean Lin Fir?"

"Yes."

"You know, Fir is quite peculiar. He gets along well with both commoners and nobles, which is rare. The class struggles have been going on for so many years."

"Heh..."

Bai Yueguang chuckled, thinking to himself that he knew Fir better than Ascat did - Fir was just a joker.

"Enough talking, let's run," Bai Yueguang said, avoiding further discussion as their conflicting worldviews didn't align well.

"By the way, teacher, what happened here? Why are there earthquakes everywhere?"

"Us?"

A bitter smile crossed Bai Yueguang's face.

"We didn't do anything. Well, if you want to know, we just tidied up some random stuff in a certain building, and halfway through, the earthquake started. So, we ran."

Although Bai Yueguang said so, he was actually quite happy because just now they were still debating inside the dragon tomb about what to take, but then when the earthquake hit, the three of them quickly stuffed everything next to the corpse along with the things they could take from the house into the ring and then ran away.

Indeed, it is only during a crisis that procrastination can be resolved; the deadline is the primary productive force.

"So... it must be that the others encountered something inside, right?"

"Indeed, considering that Fir and the others entered a long time ago, it's probably them."

"Haha..."

Watching Ascart's wry smile, Bai Yueguang could only shrug, then accelerate towards the exit.

It's unknown whether it was because the restrictions were lifted after the graveyard was destroyed, but the group basically saw the outside light without running much.

"We're out!"

The four quickly rushed out of the cave, the glaring light outside momentarily making it difficult for everyone's eyes to adjust.

"Quick, back to the camp!"

"Um... I don't really think that's a good idea..."

"Huh?"

Hei Luoli pointed in the direction of the camp, where in the sky, a huge blue dragon was flying towards them!

"What the hell!?"

Bai Yueguang cursed and then looked around.

"Let's go, this way! Towards that valley over there!"

Saying that, he pulled Hei Luoli and ran in that direction.

Taishi Xi and Ascart glanced at each other and followed suit.

However... just as they had run a few hundred meters, the shaking of the mountain behind them became even more intense, with a loud bang, a huge figure rushed out from the mountain!

"By Jove!"

Bai Yueguang turned around and was stunned.

At the very top of the mountain, a black dragon about the size of half the mountain was spreading its wings and flying into the sky, black mist emanating from it continuously corroding the nearby sky, soon turning the surroundings into a state resembling night.

"Fir, what in the world did you find?"
