Chapter 432

Midnight, moonlight spilled onto the earth, silver radiance spread across the entire continent.

Sui Liangfeng and Ali arrived within the territory of the orc empire. As soon as they approached the borders of the orc empire, they sensed that the atmosphere around them had grown tense.

"Something isn't right." Ali keenly sensed the lurking danger around them, she turned her head towards Sui Liangfeng and said, "There's danger approaching us, be careful."

Sui Liangfeng furrowed his brows, his gaze swept around, and his purple eyes emitted mysterious ripples, spreading outward layer by layer.

Sui Liangfeng's expression changed slightly, he pulled Ali into the bushes, hiding their tracks before releasing her hand.

"What did you see?" Ali asked.

"Shh." Sui Liangfeng placed his index finger on her lips, shaking his head solemnly. "Let's not speak for now."

Ali pursed her lips and remained silent, only observing the surroundings quietly.

After a while, Sui Liangfeng relaxed and spoke in a low, deep voice, "Let's go."

Ali paused for a moment. "Go? Go where?"

"My eyes have the ability to see into the future, but I can only see up to thirty minutes ahead," Sui Liangfeng explained. "I just saw Galral leading soldiers to surround the two of us."

"Ah?" Ali blinked, puzzled. "The emperor asked the two of us to help Galral ascend to the throne, but he wants to get rid of us? That's too ridiculous."

Sui Liangfeng thought for a moment and spoke with certainty, "There's something off about that Galral."

"There's definitely something off! A prince of the orc empire shouldn't make us feel in danger," Ali furrowed her brows, pondering for a moment before continuing, "This Galral might be an imposter."

"The real Galral should be in the imperial city. We'll head to the orc empire's capital - Stormwind City - tomorrow morning. It's easier to encounter imposters at night."

Ali had no objections to the next plan.

Galral was wandering all over the border, he couldn't let the vampire queen disturb his plans.

"The vampire queen promised Galral that she would send people to help him seize the throne. I've been waiting at the border for four days already. I hope the vampire queen's little girl won't break her promise." The shapeshifter who looked like Galral wandered along the border, inwardly complaining.

The vampire's reputation had never been good.

It's better to believe that monkeys can climb trees than to believe that vampires can help Galral ascend to the throne.

This was a waste of time, he couldn't spend his precious time waiting.

The power of oblivion had already been inherited. Where would the new oblivion be?

After tonight, the shapeshifter decided he would go to the Shuowang Empire to look for the traces of the new oblivion. If he couldn't find her there, he would go to the elven empire. There must be a way to find her eventually.

The morning dew moistened the grass, and dewdrops fell from the green blades.

"Ali, let's set off for Stormwind City this morning," Sui Liangfeng nudged Ali, who was squinting beside him, urging her.

"Mhm." Ali opened her eyes, dusted herself off, and stood up. "Let's go."

Sui Liangfeng's illusion could make the surrounding orcs mistake him for one of their own. Ahri, on the other hand, was a nine-tailed fox in her true form, which classified her as an orc and she had no need for disguise.

The two mages walked openly towards the center of the border city, drawing amazed looks from the orcs who caught sight of Ahri's appearance.

Ahri was stunningly beautiful, with a delicate and charming face, fair and snow-white skin, and a tall and slender figure. Her bewitching aura made people irresistibly tempted to fall for her.

On their journey, Ahri attracted attention wherever she went. Orcs who encountered her couldn't help but be captivated by her beauty, and they followed her involuntarily, hoping to strike up a conversation with her.

Ahri refused every single one of them.

She had no interest in these simple-minded and underdeveloped orcs.

Ahri had extremely high standards when it came to choosing a partner. Firstly, they must have silky and gorgeous silver hair, and secondly, their strength had to be comparable to that of the Empress.

For Ahri, these were stringent conditions, and the only person who met them was Iris.

Once the Emperor and Iris separated, Yar would make his move on her.

Now that she thought about it, if the Emperor and Iris were to separate, would Iris still possess the strength that could rival that of the Empress?

Iris, insignificant compared to the Empress, was not worthy of Ahri's lifetime trust.

"It seems like they quite like you," Sui Liangfeng suddenly said.

"Of course!" Ahri proudly raised her chin, an expression of "praise my beauty" on her face. "I have good looks and a great figure. Who wouldn't like me?"

"Yes, yes... you're great," Sui Liangfeng's mouth twitched.

Ahri snorted. "Of course."

"Sui Liangfeng, how do we get to Stormwind City?" Ahri furrowed her brows and asked. "Unlike in the Shuowang Empire, there are no teleportation arrays here. We can't use the power of the sequence to fly over and risk exposing our identities."

"Save time and fly over," Sui Liangfeng replied without hesitation.

"Are you crazy?"

"While the orc empire's magical capabilities may not rival that of the Shuowang Empire, their labor force is extremely cheap. The bird people can carry us to Stormwind City without us needing to walk," Sui Liangfeng explained.

"Carry us? Isn't that something humans used during weddings?" Ahri interjected.

"Humans used sedan chairs for that," Sui Liangfeng corrected.

With that, the two found the bird people who carried sedan chairs and said, "To Stormwind City."

Upon hearing their request, the bird people rubbed their hands together and said, "The distance from the border to Stormwind City is quite far, and the fee is quite high."

Sui Liangfeng casually tossed a blue crystal card, "Is this enough?"

The bird person receiving the card took it and checked the balance. Suddenly, a smile stretched across his face as he bowed deferentially and said, "It's enough, it's enough."

"Go to Stormwind City as fast as possible. We're in a hurry," Sui Liangfeng instructed.

"Alright, sit tight, sir." The bird person called out, "Brothers, let's get to work."

Four bird people lifted the sedan chair with their wooden poles and swiftly flew in the direction of Stormwind City.

...

At the same time, the Shapeshifter transformed into an alligator-shaped orc and disguised himself as a patrolling soldier as he left the border area without any orc soldiers blocking him.

Not long after, the Shapeshifter stopped in his tracks. He turned around and frowned, "Dream Weaver, how did you find me?"

His keen perception made him aware that someone was behind him.

At this moment, a woman with long ink-black hair slowly walked towards him from behind. She wore a black robe and stepped on black boots, with a black longsword hanging at her waist. Her face was hidden beneath the brim of her hat, making it difficult to see her true appearance.

A wolf followed behind her, looking like a husky.

"Shapeshifter, long time no see," Dream Weaver said, her lowered gaze sweeping the surroundings. Her tone was calm as she stated, "You know you can't escape my pursuit."

"Our goals as Vanquishers are the same. It's just that we use different methods," the Shapeshifter dismissed Dream Weaver's words casually.

"I value my time, so let's cut the small talk," Dream Weaver retorted.

"Then, please proceed," Dream Weaver tilted her chin slightly, gesturing for him to start.

A fierce battle was about to erupt as the two powerful and terrifying forces clashed against each other. The entire area seemed as if it would shatter, with raging air currents sweeping up sand and rocks, creating a storm of yellow sand.

The Shapeshifter vanished from his original spot, leaving the area.

"He got away again," the wolf-like creature behind Dream Weaver complained. "So annoying."

As soon as the words were spoken, the wolf's body instantly grew larger. "Get on, we'll chase after him," it said.

Dream Weaver jumped onto the back of the wolf. "Let's go."

"Howl~" The wolf howled, and its massive body dissolved into black mist, dispersing into the air.

The two figures gradually disappeared.
