...

Riz followed the bloody smell and found traces of burnt trees around. There were remnants of black smoke on the ground where embers had burned.

She frowned and looked around, noticing multiple demon corpses by the lake ahead, as well as a damaged vampire-style armor.

Vampire armor!

Riz quickly ran forward and picked up the armor, realizing it was full of cracks and severely damaged.

"Iris..." Riz called out Iris' name softly, "I hope you're okay."

Just then, there was a movement up ahead.

Riz immediately shifted her attention, alert and watchful, and after a moment, she could make out the person's appearance.

The person was draped in a magnificent robe, wearing an elaborate vintage crown on their head, with two long black tassels hanging in front of their forehead. They walked towards Riz slowly, each step seemingly heavy and impossible to ignore.

Their skin was an unusual black color, their features sharp, and they held a black and gold staff in the shape of a curved hook. Their eyes were filled with arrogance, and a polite smile hung at the corners of their mouth. They emitted a dangerous aura.

"Hello, Miss Elf. It's a pleasure to meet you," the person, known as Blackfa, raised a perfect smile and politely said, "My name is Blackfa, just an ordinary intellectual."

With that, Riz reached out her hand, indicating her friendliness. "Hello, my name is Riz."

The two shook hands cordially, displaying polite manners on the surface, but holding hidden motives in their hands.

Riz's hand ignited dazzling golden flames, while Blackfa's hand was covered in eerie purple ice.

"Miss Riz, your flames are truly beautiful," Blackfa exclaimed.

Riz smiled, "And your ice is quite impressive too."

They praised each other, testing each other.

When they let go, Riz's right hand was frostbitten, with purple frost clinging to the wound, numbing her senses and causing her hand to feel paralyzed.

Blackfa's right hand was covered in festering flesh, with sparks of fire splattering onto the wound, causing immense pain, yet he remained unfazed.

The pain from the burns and frostbite did not cause either of them to lose composure, instead intensifying their wariness of each other.

"My apologies for losing composure," Blackfa said apologetically.

"Not at all," Riz smiled, "It was my impudence."

As soon as she finished speaking, Riz's body underwent a subtle change.

Her golden hair slowly tilted towards red, her emerald green pupils gradually turned into golden yellow, and her translucent elf wings transformed into angelic feathers, burning with sacred golden flames.

Riz transformed from an elf into an angel, and now she was an archangel named Jia Bairee.

Blackfa narrowed his eyes slightly, maintaining his polite smile. He gazed at Jia Bairee, holding the black and gold staff in his left hand, with the tip of the staff emitting a purple light. "Archangel Jia Bairee, is that correct?"

Before Jia Bairee could respond, flames of intense heat ignited around her body. She formed hand seals, and golden flames danced around her, resembling butterflies in flight.

"Sacred fire shall cleanse and purify you!" As Jia Bairee's last note fell, the golden flames turned into a torrential rain of fire, crashing down upon Blackfa, seemingly devouring him entirely.

Blackfa's expression remained unchanged as he held his staff, and the purple light on the tip suddenly surged, forming a purple barrier to withstand the golden flames. The purple halo shimmered within it.

The rain of fire fell upon the black barrier, and instantly, the gold and purple colors intertwined, clashing with explosions reverberating through the sky.

Golden sparks scattered, burning the earth.

"Bang - Boom -" Two loud noises, the fire exploded, and the purple barrier was instantly shattered. Black Mage immediately used teleportation and left the original spot, but the sparks stuck to his clothes.

Black Mage patted his clothes, extinguishing the golden flames on them, his eyes filled with sighs, "Good clothes, ruined like this, such a pity."

Ja Balik flickered to Black Mage's side, thrusting a spear, silver blade cutting through the air, directly into Black Mage's heart.

As the blazing spear pierced Black Mage's heart, there was no blood spattered out, as if it pierced through empty air.

Black Mage's body dissipated like a phantom, leaving only his remaining words echoing in the ears.

"Archangel - Ja Balik, you win."

Ja Balik suppressed his aura and cautiously surveyed his surroundings, preventing the opponent from launching a surprise attack.

After a quarter of an hour, the surroundings were still silent, not even a feather, except for the howling wind, there was no other sound.

"It seems they have gone far." Ja Balik whispered.

Black Mage was a pure mage, weak in close combat. Ja Balik, as one of the top five angels, possessed strong close-range abilities and magical attacks. Black Mage must have known this, so he chose to flee.

Ja Balik followed the lake and searched for Iris' whereabouts. Although angels and demons were opposed to each other, Ja Balik would not approach Iris as an angel, but rather show sisterly care for her.

...

Iris arrived at the top of Quanlong Mountain, with the corpses of demon beasts behind her. The blood of the demon beasts soaked her white clothes, making her appear like a blood queen.

She stood on the edge of the cliff, looking down at the bottomless gorge beneath her. Through the Qimen formations, she sensed the presence of a demon beast below, which should be the true form of the figure in black.

Iris took out the sacred fruit from her storage space, peeled off the skin with the tip of her spear, and stuffed it into her mouth, chewing and swallowing.

The sacred fruit could dispel fatigue from the body and restore Iris' physical strength to its peak. She stretched her muscles and joints.

She threw the fruit peel off the cliff and looked down at the bottomless cliff with indifferent eyes.

"How long do you plan to hide? Are you coming up yourself, or do I have to drag you up?" Iris said coldly.

"Roar!"

A low dragon roar suddenly sounded, and a hundred-headed dragon flew out from below the cliff. It was covered in red scales, and its long tail swept behind like a whip. It hovered in the air, its icy blue vertical pupils staring at Iris.

"You despicable and foolish vampire, hand over the young dragon, and I may spare your life!" The hundred-headed dragon spoke arrogantly, looking down at Iris.

Iris tightened her grip on the silver-winged spear, "You want to take my daughter, did you ask for my opinion?"

The hundred-headed dragon laughed disdainfully, "Your daughter? Huh, a lowly vampire, does she deserve to possess such a precious young dragon?"

Precious? Iris caught onto the key point in the hundred-headed dragon's words. Baiying was a dragon egg she summoned using summoning magic. Why would the dragon clan see it as precious? Could it be related to something else?

But Iris didn't bother to think deeply. Since someone wanted to take her daughter, she had to kill the opponent!

The hundred-headed dragon swung its claw towards Iris, the enormous paw accompanied by a gust of wind rushing towards her.

Iris dodged the claw attack by leaning sideways, and the ground where she was before had already been pressed down by the hundred-headed dragon.

Is this the power of the Dragon Clan?

It's so domineering, just one palm and it causes such destructive force.

"Dragons, I have them too. Baixi! Create death." Iris shouted, a stargate appeared out of thin air in front of her, but Baixi didn't come out of it, only Baiying stuck out a little head: "Mom, sis is still sleeping."

When the Hundred Dragons saw Baiying, they immediately reached out their dragon claws, wanting to capture Baiying, but Baiying immediately retracted its head and the stargate closed.

The Hundred Dragons attacked empty air.

Couldn't this Baixi wait a bit to eat the elixir? Why does she have to eat it immediately after advancing, I must find an excuse to teach her a lesson.

There's still a Stone Dragon available.

"Shan Gen! Yin Ji!" As Iris finished the incantation, a majestic mountain appeared behind her.

The mountain slowly condensed into a dragon head and dragon claws, their pressure enveloping the entire range of Quanlong Mountain.

"Roar~" The Mountain Dragon roared to the sky, causing the mountains to tremble, the trees to rustle, and leaves to fall.

The Hundred Dragons and the Mountain Dragon confronted each other.

At the same time, in the Hall of Heroes, a woman in white with dragon horns observed this scene at the peak of Quanlong Mountain through a magic water mirror.

"Qimen Formation, Black Flame, White Flame, Yin Kong Spear Art... haven't seen this scene in a while," the Dragon Lady lowered her head, looking at the water mirror, with an indescribable nostalgia on her face.
