Yiqingtian dragged his injured body, struggling towards the direction of the palace. His scapula had been pierced, with an arrow still lodged in his back, and blood was slowly seeping out.

His face was as pale as paper, his lips devoid of color. His body trembled violently, as if he could faint at any moment.

Yiqingtian gritted his teeth, moving his footsteps with great difficulty, each step filled with excruciating pain. As long as he persisted until the palace's backyard, all the problems would be resolved.

Under the protection of numerous imperial guards, Yiqingtian finally reached the palace's backyard. He disregarded his own injuries, extending his arms and placing them on his chest, chanting a spell silently.

As the spell finished, a golden gate appeared out of thin air, its radiance as dazzling as the sun, illuminating the entire central city as if it were daytime.

Immediately afterward, the shimmering golden gate opened on its own, releasing a strong pressure from within that seemed to shake the heavens and the earth, sending chills down one's spine.

Yiqingtian fell to his knees, heavily knocking his forehead against the ground. "Anzu, I am incompetent and failed to protect our ancestors' foundation."

"Anzu?"

Upon hearing these four words, the initially fearful imperial guards calmed down and looked towards the suddenly vanished golden gate, their eyes filled with hope.

Everyone simultaneously knelt towards the gate, shouting, "Anzu, please bless us!"

Anzu was the oldest, most mysterious, and most powerful existance in Yiguo's history!

It was said that Anzu was an ancient behemoth, with immeasurable strength, rumored to possess the power to destroy the world!

The people of Yiguo worshipped such an entity, as to them, Anzu was an omnipotent being.

A sharp, hooked claw emerged first from the golden gate. It was a weapon capable of tearing flesh, exuding a terrifying destructive force that sent shivers down one's spine at just a glance.

Following that, another claw extended from the golden gate, and a colossal creature with a lion-like lower body and two wings emerged from the gate.

This creature had features of both a lion and an eagle, with eyes that glowed with colors resembling gemstones - red, yellow, and blue - flickering with dazzling brilliance.

Its wings were large and magnificent, each feather as sharp as a blade.

When it revealed its true form, the soldiers of the revolution were all stunned, unsure of how to react.

"Yi... Yi... Yiguo... Anzu..."

One of the revolutionary generals struggled to utter a sentence, his voice trembling, his eyes filled with fear and awe.

Anzu looked down upon the revolutionaries, his face expressionless, his gaze as cold as if he were looking at the dead.

"You are all citizens of Yiguo, so why are you attacking your fellow countrymen?" Anzu's voice resounded like thunder in the silent night, piercingly harsh.

"Fellow countrymen? Do they consider us as such? We cannot eat or dress warm, and we work hard every day. But what about them? They enjoy all the wealth and luxuries, carefree in their clothing and food! Why?!" a soldier of the revolution roared angrily, his hands clenched into fists, his nails almost piercing his flesh, blood flowing red. "Moreover, we are even prohibited from reading and awakening magic, denied even the slightest human rights. How can they still be called 'fellow countrymen'?"

"The high walls of the central city are to prevent us from entering. Because we are dirty, smelly, lowly! We would pollute the city's air, tarnishing the pure heart of their central city!" Another soldier of the revolution shouted with anger, his emotions highly aroused. "They have the right to live well, but they don't give us any chance to survive." At this moment, he seemed like a mad wild dog, roaring with a twisted and ferocious expression.

After hearing this, Anzu squinted his eyes slightly, revealing a shadowy expression, as if contemplating the authenticity of these words.

Ever since being severely injured by Your Majesty of the dragon clan, Anzu had not paid attention to the affairs of the Wing Kingdom nor the political situation, solely focused on healing.

"As long as the revolution succeeds, we will usher in a new era. I believe that under the leadership of Lord Bai Long, we will live better than before." Another high-ranking member of the revolutionary army shouted with fervor, tears welling up in his eyes. It was his first time participating in such a battle.

The soldiers of the revolutionary army echoed eagerly, their eyes shining with longing and fervency.

Anzu remained silent, but his face still wore an unpleasant expression. It was uncomfortable for him to see his own people worshiping another figure he had never heard of before.

Anzu already had a plan to use the killing of Bai Long, the object of the revolutionary army's faith, as a warning to deter others and completely sever their ignorant beliefs.

Then, a major reform of the Wing Kingdom would follow. Anzu couldn't understand what the Wing Ancestor, Wing Qingtian, was thinking. He only cared about his own enjoyment, disregarding the lives of the people, which led the entire Wing Kingdom into a dangerous situation.

Firstly, he would force Bai Long to come out. His broad wings flapped lightly, immediately stirring up gusts of fierce wind.

"Boom boom boom..."

The violent hurricane swept through, knocking down the revolutionary army but causing little damage. However, it was enough to incite chaos.

At this moment, Anzu flapped his wings again, launching a fierce assault with gusts of wind against the revolutionary army.

"Quick, take cover!"

The ranks of the revolutionary army fell into disarray. Some fell to the ground, while others were caught in the cyclone, suffering heavily.

For a while, cries of pain filled the air.

Anzu increased the intensity of his flapping, the hurricane ravaging the area. The shrieks of the revolutionary army continued without casualties, clearly indicating he was testing, hoping to force Bai Long to appear.

Seeing that Bai Long still had not shown himself, Anzu's brows furrowed even more tightly. "Bai Long, do you really not care about the lives of your people? If you don't want your subjects to be harmed, you better reveal yourself!"

Anzu's voice contained a strong magical element, spreading forcefully in the surroundings. He believed that Bai Long would definitely sense his intention.

Iris, standing on the rooftop, took it all in. She had a smile playing at the corner of her mouth. "Baixi, out of courtesy, shouldn't you go and meet Anzu, the one with the eagle-headed lion-bodied appearance?"

"Mother, you know I can't defeat Anzu. If I go recklessly, he will definitely beat me to a pulp." Baixi transmitted her inner thoughts to Iris through the Consciousness Space.

"Hehe, why are you afraid of him? With mother present, you can confidently go." Iris's tone was gentle, filled with indulgence. In her heart, she wanted Baixi to suffer a bit. Who told this brat not to cultivate properly and instead follow those fanatical believers around all the time? During that time, Iris was busy and couldn't discipline her, so she had to let her run wild.

"Mother, then I'll go."

"Go quickly and be careful."

"Yes."

Seeing that Bai Long still hadn't appeared, Anzu decided to kill some people. His eyes gradually became fierce and cruel, releasing an intense murderous intent. An invisible pressure permeated the surroundings, chilling everyone's hearts.

"Boom—" Anzu forcefully lifted his hand, and a tremendous hurricane surged forth, directly rushing towards the revolutionary army.

"Pfft - Pfft -"

In an instant, many members of the revolutionary army were whisked away by the hurricane, their bodies torn apart and blood splattered everywhere. It was a horrifying scene.

However, the revolutionary army remained calm and composed. After all, this was the path of revolution, and they had long anticipated this scene.
