"Your Majesty, it's getting late. Would you like to stay here and rest? Do you need me to assist you with bathing and changing?" The nurse quickly suggested.

"No need, I still have some matters to attend to. You can go ahead and busy yourself," Iris waved her hand, declining the nurse's offer.

"Yes." The nurse respectfully retreated and closed the door behind her.

Iris entered the dressing room and took off the red corset dress made by Ling Guang for her, replacing it with a knee-length black coat that wrapped around her figure. Her lower half was adorned with black jeans and black boots.

Although Ling Guang's winter version of the corset dress provided excellent warmth, the clothes made by her mother were always particularly magnificent.

After entering the White Stork Empire, Iris couldn't afford to draw too much attention in order to avoid attracting suspicious eyes. This way, she could blend in with the common folk more easily, and her usual attire also highlighted her status as an ordinary elf.

Once dressed neatly, Iris picked up the hat and scarf beside her, covering part of her face. Iris had a very beautiful face, which inherited the excellent genes of Ling Guang.

Thanks to the strength of Ling Guang's genes, if they were not strong enough, Iris would have had many similarities with Lilia in appearance.

With everything in order, Iris inserted her hands into her pockets and slowly walked towards the hospital exit.

"Farewell, Your Majesty," the nurse watched Iris' figure and respectfully bowed.

Standing at the hospital entrance, Iris looked up at the sky. A full moon hung high, and stars twinkled brightly. Iris raised her right hand, palm facing upwards, and placed it on her forehead, closing her eyes to enjoy the peacefulness.

A gust of cold wind blew, messing up Iris' hair. Her silver locks danced like a waterfall, and her eyelashes trembled lightly as if butterfly wings were fluttering.

"The beginning of a dream," Iris opened her eyes and walked forward.

Iris had lived in Agsas for eleven years, but she had never appreciated the scenery. At that time, she had no power or influence, just a beggar who relied on stealing and robbing to survive.

No one would have imagined that the beggar from back then would now be the Empress ruling over the most powerful empire.

Iris strolled along the street, slowly observing the scenery on the roadside. Suddenly, her gaze was drawn to a scene not far ahead. Several warriors in black leather armor were beating up a young man wearing white robes.

The man in white robes kept dodging and continuously pleaded, "I'm sorry, I'm really sorry. I won't dare to steal again." He begged and apologized incessantly.

As Iris looked at the man's expression, her eyebrows furrowed. She felt like she knew the man in front of her. His name seemed to be Ke. He was the guy who wanted to rob Iris' money but ended up being sent to prison by Iris, who paid a bail of three thousand Bella.

"Seven years have passed, and he's still trying to survive by stealing. Some people just never change," Iris shook her head and continued walking. She didn't want to meddle in someone else's business, especially someone unrelated to her.

If Little Baixi was caught stealing, Iris definitely wouldn't stand idly by. She would knock down the thugs assaulting Baixi, then give them a severe beating to make them understand the consequences of bullying her daughter, and finally, pay for their medical expenses and compensation.

As for the punishment that Baixi will receive, it all depends on Iris' mood.

Of course, Baixi should not engage in theft. She has received a good education since she was young and would never do such immoral things.

Iris continued on, reaching a wealthy area she had never been to before in the city of Agsas. It was supposed to be the most luxurious and extravagant location in the city, but Iris scanned her surroundings and couldn't help but shake her head. This so-called luxurious area was not even one percent of the Blood Clan Imperial City.

Unknowingly, Iris arrived at the outskirts of the city, where there was a wide and secluded road lined with low shrubs and trees. Occasionally, a carriage would pass by from a distance and stop at the side of the street. The environment here was in stark contrast to the bustling wealthy district; the streets were empty, with hardly anyone around.

She continued on and asked some elderly folks about the location of the village of Capin.

"Capin Village? That place was destroyed by a vampire years ago," an old lady nearby answered.

"Oh? That's a pity!" Iris feigned surprise, knowing full well that she had destroyed the place herself.

"Yes, it is a pity," the old lady sighed.

"Do you remember the location of Capin Village, Granny?" Iris asked.

"Go straight down this road for twenty kilometers, then turn left and keep going until the end. That place is Capin Village," the old lady pointed ahead and said.

"Okay. Thank you, Granny," Iris smiled and then left.

Since it was the outskirts, there weren't many people nearby, so Iris spread her blood feathers and hurried towards Capin Village.

Soon, Iris arrived at Capin Village and stopped in front of a tombstone with no words.

She took out the storage ring and burned the paper money, leaving it to turn into ashes in front of the tombstone.

After finishing this, Iris quietly left.

This unmarked tombstone was the burial place of the sisters Tais and Taiqing. They were killed by Iris seven years ago and buried here.

Iris felt a heaviness in her heart. At that time, she left Lilia and was brought into their home by Tais, who warmly invited her to stay and cooked her meals. However, Iris couldn't control her bloodthirst and ended up killing the two sisters.

Looking back now, she was truly cruel back then. She killed two people without any remorse and appeared completely indifferent.

Iris was no longer the same as before; her character was no longer cold and heartless. Her heart had become much softer, and she would not casually kill others.

After visiting the grave, Iris bought a ticket for the Magic Train that went directly to the capital of White Stork - Sazi.

Iris had a VIP ticket, allowing her to sit in the first-class cabin. Apart from the attendants, she was the only person in the entire carriage.

"Money really is great," Iris couldn't help but exclaim.

Then, a steward approached and asked, "Miss, would you like a massage? We have this service specifically prepared for you." The steward pointed to a massage chair nearby and said to Iris.

"No, thank you. I just want to sleep for a while," Iris smiled and politely declined the steward.

Iris lay on the comfortable and soft folding bed, feeling the bed beneath her. It was really comfortable. She closed her eyes and rested. Before long, she entered a light sleep.

Being away from home, she had to stay vigilant. Therefore, she couldn't enter deep sleep and could only rest briefly to avoid any danger.

Iris woke up, not knowing how long she had been asleep. She stretched lazily and then glanced outside the window. The sky was still dim, with a thin layer of mist lingering in the air.

After a while, a flight attendant pushed a food cart over and placed the food in front of Iris. "These foods are prepared by professional chefs. They are nutritious and well-balanced, not only replenishing your body's energy but also improving your immune system," the flight attendant said with a standard professional smile, her voice gentle and sweet.

"Thank you!" Iris said gratefully.

The flight attendant smiled slightly and replied, "It's our pleasure to serve you." With that, she walked away.

Iris picked up the steaming sandwich and took a bite. The taste was just okay, a far cry from what Baixi made. However, Iris was not picky. As long as it could fill her stomach, it was sufficient.

After finishing her meal, Iris called the flight attendant and said, "It would be a waste to throw away the remaining food. Why don't you distribute it to those passengers without seats? They might be in need."

Upon hearing this, the flight attendant bowed deeply to Iris and said, "Thank you for considering those passengers without seats. You are truly kind." Her tone was filled with respect and gratitude.

Iris waved her hand with a smile and replied, "It's only a small effort."

The flight attendant nodded slightly and then pushed the cart towards the area where the passengers without seats were sitting.

Iris sat back in her seat, closed her eyes, and waited for the magic train to arrive in Shazi.
