Ling, who fell into the crack, was unharmed and watched the scene around her in amazement, unable to utter a word.

Where am I?

On the left, there was an endless storm of raging flames, while on the right, there was a holy radiance.

The storm of flames and the holy radiance were both trying to break through the corridor and destroy each other, but they were hindered and unable to pass.

At the end of the corridor stood a towering building, on top of which stood a woman.

With curiosity in her heart, Ling approached the ancient building slowly, wanting to get a clear view of the mysterious woman.

She pushed open the door and entered the quaint hall.

In the center of the hall stood a stone monument, on which were engraved two characters: "Annihilation."

She saw the words on it but didn't know what they meant.

Ling continued walking forward. It was a long staircase, and at the end of the staircase was the top of the ancient building. She couldn't help but become curious about who the mysterious woman was and why she left such inscriptions.

She followed the stone steps and finally reached the top floor of the building, where she saw a person, a woman.

The woman was wearing a white robe, with a white veil on her face, unable to see her appearance, only a pair of red and blue mismatched pupils.

These pupils gave people a deep and vast feeling, as if they were the most profound treasure in the world, full of infinite charm.

She stood there quietly, as if she had been waiting for a long time, unmoving, emitting a heavy solemn aura.

"After waiting for so long, someone has finally come in?" the woman spoke, her voice gentle but carrying an irresistible force, as if she had control over everything.

"Who are you?" Ling asked cautiously.

"You can call me Annihilation," the woman said softly but with an air of non-negotiability.

"Can you send me out?" Ling pleaded.

"Of course," Annihilation nodded gently and softly said, "I am just a remnant soul. I hope you can inherit my legacy. If this alternate dimension is destroyed, I will also disappear."

The woman's voice was soft and beautiful, like a warm lily in spring.

Ling didn't immediately agree. The non-blood-related sister had once said that one must think carefully before acting and not make hasty decisions.

"Stand beside me and look down upon this alternate dimension," Annihilation spoke again.

Upon hearing this, Ling slowly walked to her side and looked at the scene of the raging flaming storm on the right and the flowing holy radiance on the left. In the middle, the corridor was always calm, and everything was so peaceful.

Her heart was filled with curiosity. Was there any meaning behind this?

Ling looked up at Annihilation and found her looking at her with gentle eyes. She couldn't help but ask, "Did you discover something?"

Annihilation's voice remained gentle and pleasant, like a beautiful song.

"Hmm... the corridor in the middle is not as extreme as the darkness on the left and the brightness on the right," Ling thought for a moment and said.

"Interesting answer," Annihilation's lips curled into a smile as she spoke softly, "The extreme brightness and the extreme darkness will eventually come to a battle. As an ordinary human like you, how will you face the impact."

"I..." Ling was about to speak but was interrupted.

"Dawn does not understand mercy, living in an absolute bright atmosphere, your life is planned, such as when you marry and have children, everything follows a predetermined path. Dusk does not understand restraint, living in absolute darkness, your life may be chaotic, such as killing and plundering, everything is free, with no one to restrain you."

"Who are you..." Ling was astonished as she looked at Annihilation and asked.

"We are the end, I exist between dawn and dusk, possessing both the power of darkness and light." As Annihilation's voice fell, she completely changed her appearance.

Angelic wings appeared behind her, her right hand glowing in dark red, and her left hand in blue and white, each holding a matching colored blade.

The veil on her face also fell.

Seeing this scene, tears welled up in Ling's eyes.

"My lady, is it really you?" Ling took a few steps forward wanting to hold Annihilation.

However, she couldn't touch anything, as if Annihilation was transparent and not truly present.

"I am just a lingering soul, not your mother. My face can take on the appearance of the person you miss the most; that's why I can create a veil on my face with a little bit of power," said Annihilation softly, her voice still gentle and soothing.

"Um... can you hug me? Sister Annihilation," Ling choked out, tears streaming down her face, passing through Annihilation's body.

"Of course," Annihilation replied gently, then embraced Ling in her arms.

However, Ling couldn't feel the sensation of the hug because Annihilation's body was transparent, without any substantial presence.

But even so, this hug brought tranquility to Ling's heart, as if it was the greatest love from a mother.

After a while, Ling slowly spoke up, "I am willing to inherit your legacy, but how should I proceed?"

"Close your eyes first," Annihilation said softly.

"Oh, okay," Ling obediently agreed, then slowly closed her eyes, waiting for Annihilation to pass on her inheritance.

"The future of dawn and dusk will be put to an end by annihilation," Annihilation said slowly. Her voice flowed like a clear spring, gently entering Ling's mind, putting her in a semi-trance state as if she was immersed in a dream.

Annihilation's left and right hands manifested blue-white and black-red spheres of light respectively, encircling Ling's body in layers, forming rings of radiance.

These radiance circles, like ripples in water, gradually merged into Ling's body.

In that moment, Ling saw demons and angels battling each other.

The radiance of dawn and the flames of darkness intertwined, cancelling each other out, devouring each other, and finally dissipated into nothingness.

The battle between demons and angels affected mortals, causing heavy casualties and even destroying entire cities.

"This is the result of a million years of battle between young demons and angels. I don't want to see such a disaster anymore," Annihilation's voice resounded once again, bringing Ling back from her trance.

"Sister Annihilation, can you tell me what I should do?" Ling looked at Annihilation and asked.

"In this mortal world, there are twelve Harbingers of the End, each possessing unique powers. And you are the new Annihilation, able to sense them. Your task is to awaken them and help resolve the conflict between demons and angels. Only with peace can this world continue to flourish," Annihilation's voice was gentle.

"I understand," Ling replied.

Then Annihilation handed two swords to Ling, saying, "The blue-white Astral Severing Sword and the black-red Demon Slaying Sword. With them, you can learn all of my secret techniques and possess an ultimate power."

"For the sake of peace and tranquility, work hard, little one," Annihilation smiled softly and slowly faded away.

The Severing Sword and Slaying Sword turned into miniatures of angel wings and demon wings, entering the backs of Ling's left and right hands.

In the moment when Annihilation disappeared, Ling asked, "How do I get out?"

"Your blood relative has come to pick you up," Annihilation's voice vanished, leaving behind a mysterious sentence, and disappeared completely from Ling's sight.

"Blood relative..." Ling murmured.

At this moment, a strong pressure appeared above the dimensional space, rushing down and tearing through the entire space, creating a rift.

A teenage girl with her right arm wrapped in black-red chains and three black spikes on her shoulder emerged from the rift.

The girl had silver hair, golden eyes shining like stars, and an air of majesty between her brows, exuding the aura of a queen.

At this moment, Ling felt a familiar bloodline aura.

"Could it be my mother?" a thought flashed through Ling's mind.

Ling raised her head to look up, and when she saw the newcomer clearly, her face was filled with surprise.

"She... she is truly my sister!"

Ling's expression became grim; she had never imagined that the sister she spoke of without blood relation was actually her own sister.

The girl descended swiftly from the rift in the space, standing before Ling, looking down at her with cold and emotionless eyes, like the frosty December, devoid of any feelings.

Ling instinctively lowered her head, not daring to meet her gaze with those golden and crimson eyes.

"This space is about to collapse, so we must leave this space as soon as possible," Chaos's voice echoed once again.

Iris glanced coldly at Ling and then reached out to hold Ling's back and legs, embracing her tightly.

Ling's body trembled slightly, not knowing if it was fear or excitement, perhaps deep down in her heart, she also longed to be recognized by her sister.

Immediately, Iris spread her blood wings and swiftly rose into the air, flying towards the palace.

"Sister, I..." Ling didn't know what to say, but she couldn't help but call out.

"Why did you run away from home? Have you grown wings to escape the loneliness?" Iris's tone was filled with severity, discontent, and reproach.

"I... I... I was wrong... I didn't know you were my real sister," Ling murmured softly.

"Hmph." Hearing Ling's words, Iris let out a disdainful snort and said, "Naive! Did you ever think about why Baixi and Baiying called you their niece? When they brought you back from the forest, Baixi said that I am your real sister."

"I thought Baixi sister was lying to me. I have never seen you before, and I have no memory of you, so I..." Ling felt so ashamed by Iris's words that she instinctively wrapped her arms around Iris's neck and buried her head in her chest.

Iris flew all the way to the palace, and the two of them were quiet along the way, not saying anything else.

When they arrived back in Ling's bedroom, Iris gently placed Ling on the bed, took off her shoes, and covered her with a blanket. "Rest well, I will take care of you later."

After saying this, Iris walked out of the room and closed the door.

Feeling exhausted, Ling fell into a deep sleep.

After eating some food, Iris returned to her bedroom to sleep as well. After all, she had been chasing Ling for such a long time and needed to recover her spiritual strength properly to avoid any mental fatigue or setbacks.
